It's not about the makeup as much as it is about the procedures, the immaculate precision and cleanliness, the little tools and gadgets and gizmos and the sounds, clicking and smoothing and all the cute little piggies 😊😊. It's ASMR
I actually was looking for tips on easy pan removal for compacts, and how to pop lipstick tubes out without breaking them, and watching repeated actions until I'm confident enough to try them, because some of the lipstick tubes I was gifted are stupid expensive, and I'd rather risk breaking them to refill from a new inexpensive one than spend ten times that on a new fancy one. I've just been swabbing out my empty shadow pans with 91% isoproyl and manually repressing shadows from a donor palette into them with a sealing wax tool. I'd like to remove the pans, clean the adhesive off and add thin magnets to make them easier to remove in the future. I actually turn the sound off because it creeps me out.
@Nettieszoo, it IS about the makeup for the O.P., because she's demonstrating her skills in order to attract more clients to her makeup repair business.
I don't really wear makeup 90% of the time...yet here I am watching this. It did help me feel less anxious so thanks for that. There is definitely something soothing about this.
Half of me is curious if people are sending this makeup in or if the people who are "fixing" these are just breaking things to make more content. It's very satisfying to watch at least, I'll give it that.
Hi, I love to watch them because I like makeup but I’m convinced these are stages, there are some product damages that don’t occur in daily use also the packaging are totally new, no sings of wear at all.
Can we please talk about how beautiful the lipstick containers are on the third part of this video!!!!! OH MY FRAKIN GOODNESS. How freaking beautiful are those? Honestly, I'd probably buy the lipsticks just for the containers seriously. They are absolutely gorgeous, I love makeup containers that have a style they are so beautiful, different, sometimes unique, and a nice change from the normal plain make-up holders/containers/tubes/Etc, as well as collectable if you want to. For someone like me I look for the styled and different holders/Etc for me to put my makeup into so that ain't dont have to have the usual boring, plain, sometimes bulky and/or ugly things they come in. That way everything looks so much prettier and such when being pulled out of my pretty bag when I need to use what ever. I love collecting the more beautiful, prettier containers as well to not just normal use for putting in my bags/purses for when needed, but also they look beautiful on your vanity on display. It just sucks that nowadays a lot of the containers are so plain and barely have anything on them like they use to. So my question as an avid daily makeup, skincare, etc user and artist, can we please get some more stylization (and yes stylization is not a real word but I don't give a sh*t, it's my word)to our makeup containers/holders/ect and not at an absolutely ridiculous price make it decently priced with a little bit of beauty, style or something at least?!?!?!
Some of these I don’t understand. She took a perfectly good lipstick, melted it, put half of it back into the same container, and did what with the rest? And why?
Thanks for showing me how to repair cosmetics, even if the alcohol swab down every lipstick tube was repetitive, but no one has a bench press to put loose powders back into their pans or different lipstick molds, etc. Microwave, ultrasonic cleaner and sterilizer I have, but all of the forms, 5 or 10 ml beakers, no, can't afford all of that. Cheaper to buy new cosmetic.
Watching these videos makes me wonder how I could repurpose some of my old makeup, or at least the containers. I used to be a dancer, so I have a ton of stage makeup lying around. I'm nowhere near your level of expertise, but making sure that at least some part of it doesn't go to waste would be nice.
Can you do just a video showing your equipment clearly? I’ve been watching carefully and trying to pick up items. I like how careful your are with sanitation and sterilization. I have a lot of lipsticks I want to play with but I have not started to yet until I feel I can follow your steps.
Doesn’t lipstick or other cosmetics loose their properties like for example Matt finish after warming them up to high temperature? I will be glad for answer.
Lovely to see this makeup like new again! That nars lipstick ...better than new and the blusher..nice to watch process also! But the gorgeous Chanel lipstick is my fav. Thanks!

@Bianca Davila, actually there are several "octyl" serums used in cosmetics: octyl stearate, octyl palmitate, octyldodecanol and octyl isononanoate. All of these compounds are used to liquify makeup pigments and help cosmetics give skin a smooth appearance.

I feel like so much perfectly good makeup got destroyed here😅 Like, is it really a repair if you ruin the shade by mixing it with another? Very relaxing vid though
@Brie B, it's whatever her business clients want her to do that counts; Not what the viewers think she should, or shouldn't do. After all the clients are the ones paying her.
@@C.O.G. That didn't answer my question.... I asked if mixing shades like that destroys them or their composition, as the color may no longer suit the wearer because it's now off several shades. Is that just something you accept if you get your makeup professionally "repaired"?
I don't think they will accept anything they don't like, they will do something about it I think it's scary to think about what they could would do next
@@brieb402 , I think it's a safe bet that this lady's clients asked her to make specific changes to their makeup since as I said before, they are the ones paying her to do what she does. I don't know for sure, because I wasn't there, but that would be the logical conclusion. Also, since most cosmetics are made up of the same ingredients, I don't see how the quality could differ very much. Max Factor uses the same basic substances (pigments, lanolin, castor oil, etc) that L.A. Colors uses. It's just that, with the more expensive brands, you're paying for the name.
@@C.O.G. Hmm, i guess it just perplexes me. Seems like a weird thing to pay for if you want to actually fix your makeup, not just consolidate it all together.😅 But to each their own i guess. All of these are fine except the foundation pigment one, there's literally gonna be shards of glass in that and hell nah
Probably would have cut the plastic bag if there was any shards.
The Vaseline will return to gel once it reaches room temp, there was no Nars logo on the first lipstick mold, and what is with all the extra sound effects, yeesh
❤❤❤
You Tube: if this is supposed to be ASMR, why are u constantly interrupting this video, with these loud ads???!!!
I enjoi these videos, bc they help me to relax! U have plenty of other videos to interrupt.
The sound effects are fake anyways...
So you put the first lipstick on a regular mold and it comes out with the Nars stamp. That's funny.
Amei ❤ o este vídeo, é lindo os recipientes e a maneira como você restaura meticulosamente é muito agradável e relaxante. Parabéns. ❤
It's pretty much destroying what you bought it for, and you have no clue if the new blend will suit you or not.😬
I love it! People need to repair more makeup so no more animal testing! We need a job that repairs makeup to people will still have money! 💗
Yea, no more animal testing. But we will use 1000 disposable non recyclable tissues and plastic things, ah and a little bit of paper (with layer of plastic too), not talking about water and electricity to clean all of those. Good job, you are moving right 😂😂
Very professional 👏! But ALL of the RED 💄 is crazy!!! 😂
Honestly, your vid is clutch for both chilling out and nailing my work. Thanks for that!
Thank you, please support me in the next videos!🤗🤗🤗
This is the only ASMR I will ever enjoy. (It is not being destroyed for the trash)
At first I thought somebody raided smurfette's vanity 😂
So, is there a market for "recycled" make-up? I don't know another reason for someone to have all the equipment and tools to do this.
How can I pay you to fix one of my makeup pallets ?
oh I can't accept everyone's money ^^ not to mention the long distance shipping is also quite complicated so right now I only accept from my friends and I already have a lot of stuff
You can write the ideas you want here and I will come up with ideas for the video ^^
Вопрос: ЗАЧЕМ😂
Video: DIY restoration! You can do it yerself
Also video: uses a hydraulic press to compress the bronzer/foundation powder compact 🫠
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
32:54 what’s the shade of that Mac lipstick?
Names of all the cute items in the background?? I'm redoing my room and looking for decorations
So are you a make-up artist? All of the samples and breaking down products into others makes me wonder if you're a professional?
Edit: also the chocolate lipstick had me scared 😂 reminds me of candy lipsticks I used to get when I was small 😂
trauma flashback be like
Собрали на помойке всю косметику и на переработку в "элитны" Продукт. 😮😮😮
Honestly, what's the point? The repairing service would be more expensive than buying a brand new one, plus you'll get more product as the one to be repaired is used and there's product lost during the procedure. 😂
it was fun to watch, but easier to just buy more 😹
