Until this and Kelly Clarkson my dad and others didn't think it was possible to write a Xmas song that was a classic level material. Made him happy and gave him hope for a little while longer. Despite it's problems here and there, we loved the Darkness. They were so damn good.

The guys who saved 'Christmas' (as opposed to certain people who worked f***in' hard at ruining it). Best Christmas song since the early-70's, when Christmas was 'fun' (remember that ?). + - Think about this - all them Christmas hymns were about 'rejoicing', not flagellating yerself about things that YOU (frankly) have got very little chance of changing. AND this song doesn't actually need the 'double entendres' to make it simultaneously fun but relevant - I read it straight : it still creases me up (even without the video) & I'm with it 100% ... .
