My dear non-muslim friends, nobody eats so much during sehri (I get it-it's a joke but still I guess it's important to clarify this)
I drink barely a glass of milk and have a piece of bread maybe. Sometimes not even that, just milk would suffice.
And many of the times you'd find people who don't eat anything at all. Bs paani pee lete hain. (That is also not healthy anyway)
Apart from the religious reasons, we fast so that we can understand what hunger and thirst feels like and empathize with poor people who don't have anything to eat the entire year. It makes us humble and teaches us to value the resources around us, not waste them and be thankful for them.
Agar itna 5 din ka khana ek baar mein khaa lenge to it'll simply defy the entire of purpose of fasting.
If you find a muslim friend doing that, know that they probably don't understand the significance of fasting. 🤷
Baaqi weight isliye nahi lose hota kyuki shaam mein pakode aur samose sb chalne lagta hai.. People are hungry and want to eat something nice in the evening so it mostly contains of all these fried food.
Some families simply prefer having dinner instead of eating so much fried food. Hence, they do lose fat.

But jokes apart, everyone who's not aware of this thing (got to know from my Muslim friends) that the concept of roza is much more serene than we all think it is. Yes a lot of people just eat for 5 days like he mentioned, but this is not the essense of the keeping roza. You are supposed to eat normally, just like any other day. And these days are for you to reflect on yourself, your state of mind your life and its position. Fasting so that each time you feel hungry, you remember why you are keeping this fast, not just for the sake of it, but to remember who created you, who sacrificed so much to bring these msgs to you and what you should do to better your life and others around you. 💫
Ps. All my friends lose weight and it reflects on their faces too!! 🤭
