Knew Teutonic Slaughter would mention Ronny James DIO. On the inlay of my Under The Sign Of The Moon vinyl its says "This record is eternally dedicated to Ronnie James DIO, without him Cruel Force would've never exist. He taught us to rock and roll, Long Live DIO, Long live Rock' n Roll"
70s Scorpions, nice. I agree,a list cannot be made without Sabbath. Rainbow, introduced Dio to a larger audience,nice. Maiden. To this day when I hear anything from those 1st 5 albums I get a giant smile on my face. It's involuntary, it just happens. Nice list. Bang on,bang hard!

However, there are two “small” exceptions: on the one hand, I can and could never do anything with RUSH; on the other hand; What is the “Number of the Beast” for you is the “Piece of Mind” for me.
