2:25 "And the Lexington class.... which doesn't exist yet."
*Daniels INTENSIFIES*
I have really enjoyed this series of videos! Binged them all over the last couple weeks! Your narration make it so much more fun. Thank you!
I've been watching this series for awhile now, and his narration has helped rekindle my enjoyment of the game.
Feel the same way been watching it for a min sometimes I play the videos while I play star trek online
Lo and behold. The U.S.S. Armiger is now a sister ship to the U.S.S. Enterprise.
Question is is Rick going to give her saucer separation and the small support ship as well like the Enterprise F? 🤔
@@NCC-72545A Doubtful. They do help, as I have played with those consoles, but they do cost a bit to get. And besides, he has had the odyssey class for a while and hasn't used the consoles. So I don't think so.
@@wexlinator1189 baby but I can hope
@@NCC-72545A Well, with or without the consoles, these videos are still really fun to watch.
@@wexlinator1189 here here We can definitely agree on that.
I imagine this scene every time the armiger comes into dry dock
Space atc: armiger entering dry dock repair assessment crews at the ready.
Dock boss: **exasperated sigh** oh God it's the armiger, the halestorm strikes again **gruff yelling voice** INTERN!!!! get the repair teams a barrel of raktajino each.
intern: oh God it's the armiger.
"Are the nacelles supposed to be bent at that angle?"
@@richmcgee434 "What's that weird stuff embedded all over sections of the hull? And why is it still glowing?"
@@Corbomite_Meatballs "Why are their *BORG* implants working alongside the vessel?!" XD
@@EnderMalcolm and why is there a duatronic computer in Hale's quarters!
"Soon we will end this destructive conflict and restore order to the Empire." That, uh... sounds a bit familiar....
19:40 Your "sympathy" for the Ferengi had me choking on my latte fm laughing!
Thx as always, *Rick* 🥰 Like # 587
One thing that I should say about the conversation with L'Rell near the beginning..."Eyes *up*, Hale..." :-)
So this episode is part of another set of main story patrol missions. The usage of House Kang does provides interesting background details to some older lore on Klingons. Though I also wonder on how other Starfleet and Romulan vessels are reacting to that crisis.
Holding the border and watching ( federation for safety and Romulans as to not repeat the Duras problem).
Captain Hale: *Returns from Borath still hazy and promptly excuses himself to his ready room for the next four hours with the worst case of the munchies ever.*
"Sir, this is Engineering. Do you know why the replicator in your Ready Room is running at 420% of normal rated output? We're running out of raw matter for it."
@@Corbomite_Meatballs “Uhhhhh….no comment.”
the deep sigh when everyone's 'Favorite' Ferengi shows up.
I love to hate Madran. I wish we could meet his mirror counterpart.
While I personally prefer the Endeavor refit, the Yorktown refit is a beautiful design as well and worthy of that ship name's legacy.
She's a beautiful ship especially after her recent revamp. I added the skin to mine as soon as it was available.
Endeavor Refit? Should have been called the Hornet Refit.
It would have been a nice callback to World War 2, of which there was USS Enterprise, USS Yorktown and USS Hornet all who were sister ships(Yorktown Class)
L'orel: "Hey, my eyes are up here!"
LOL, that is funny, that is out freaking funny. 🤣
I’ve made my choice!
@@Cynder2251 then you've chosen your pane 😆 🤣 good luck
My Odyssey class is the Yorktown 1717-A. Speced as a warship with hangars packing fighters. Head canon Enterprise flies the flag exploration/diplomacy the poster girl for Starfleet/FED while the Yorktown the sister ship has been geared towards combat, patrol duty, rapid response.
Another ship named Yorktown built as a carrier. Very appropriate.
My idea is that my ship, the NCC-97021 Sukhothai is actually the rapid response ship, heavy wing, battlegroup Able, 8th fleet.
You make a decent point in passing here. How does anybody in Starfleet not end up with Tinnitus by the age of 30 with all the shake, rattle and rolling going on around them all the damn time?
25th century medical technology...
They found that one weird trick that's turning the pharmaceutical industry on its head!
I'm guessing frequent visits to medbay at the first sign of tinnitus to make sure it doesn't get worse? Lmao
Poor Madran! He's forgotten rule of acquisition 62. A deal is a deal until a better one comes along!
Im enjoying this arch far too much. Bravo!.
Odo: "QUARK!"
Hale/Rick: "MADRAN!"
Ferengi just have a way of getting under one's skin, don't they?
Heh.
Something occurred to me earlier today, regarding Kligon myths around Sto'vo'kor, Grethor and Fek'lhr.
If Kortar and his wife killed the gods who created them, where did Fek'lhr come from? Who condemned Kortar to his eternal job as the ferryman and who rules over Sto'vo'kor?
And i'm surprised no-one has asked Martok yet exactly how he lost that fight with J'mpok. I suspect someone from house Torg shot him in the back and stunned him when he was about to win, but until Martok clarifies, we'll never know.
I mean probably Kahless
Rules Sto'vo'kor
It is hinted that House Torg poisoned Jem'pok's batleth. Jem'pok apparently never knew, and the poison saved Martok's life.
I was actually contemplating of makingf a Madran vs Hale playlist, would be hilarious
Pro Tip: If you tripped balls, the smoke wasn't "bad". If you wind up in sick bay with smoke inhalation, the smoke was bad.
Loving the series Rick! Keep em coming!
With the discussion on the various ships at the beginning, it makes me wonder: are there any ships you've encountered with unfortunate or unlucky names?
I don't mean things with dirty slang meanings - I'm pretty sure the game won't let you name a ship something profane or copyrighted - but there are plenty of doomed cities, idiot leaders (from antiquity - no need to drag modern politics into this), traitors, and military disasters to choose from. I'm kind of imagining a task force consisting of the USS _Bhopal,_ _Centralia,_ _Karansebes,_ and _Ephialtes_ flying in formation.
All the names of Oberth class starships.
USS Kamchatka
@@nsr-ints OMFG, how did I miss that one.
"Do you see photon torpedo boats?"
@@tba113 "Raider? Where raider!?"
@@nsr-intsmy mirror Aquarius is named that. "Do you see torpedo boats".
It's going to be a little bit sad when this series catches up with the game. Luckily, we're supposed to be getting two new missions released next week so that'll extend the series for a little bit. Ric, have you thought about doing some of the TFO's when this is over?
You have done so well on this series man so much so that ever since I found it, I've waited with so much anticipation each week that it felt like an actual Star Trek TV series.
I wonder how you'll do future installments of Star Trek online with you being caught up with the with the house divided, shattered, and unification Arts. (Forgive me I'm not sure if I got those titles right for STO.)
His fans like us regardless if we like the original five series and 11 movies are those who like all of past and present Star Trek we keep this universe, this franchise, and Gene Roddenberry's Vision alive
You have definitely brought "Glory and Honor to you..... and your House."
Let us all not try but I do what we can to bring fourth world not just for the sake of ourselves but for the countless Generations that are yet to come.
So that our descendants May one day live in a world like the one Gene Roddenberry created or one that's even better🖖
I have been a fan for a year or two. I love your narrations and the extra dialog adds so much more depth. My only complaint is that you don't upload often enough. Other than that, I love this series.
Yesssss, let’s end this klingon civil war
And let's hope that the war in Ukraine comes to an end before it spreads.
Thoughts, Prayers, and support to those of Ukraine 🇺🇦 🙏 Qa'pal.

19:50 Everyone on bridge is like 😤🤦♂️ under their breath is like F**k
Enemies know each other more than even your best friend knows you, quark and Odo knew each other even more than anyone else
Thank you Rick, have been subscribed for ages, but i am only just now getting through your story series. This is awesome. Unfortunately my computer crapped out and I cant do STO anymore, but its great to see you in this series.
Yeah, Mary Chieffo is roughly 6 ft tall IRL. Add to that the prosthetic headpiece, and whatever boots she happens to be wearing, and L'Rell is indeed a rather tall Klingon lady.
Yeah she and one other actress who played Klingons in Discovery talked about it is hard for them to get roles due to how tall they are.
Same with the women who played the Duras sisters. Though looking at female pro wrestlers would be an alternative for Klingon women actors.
Binged watched all your series
One reason I keep playing
Thank you fellow captain
Fins make everything better. Automobile manufacturing turned away from the light when cars stopped looking like rocket ships in the Fifties.
Thank you for this entire STO series.
Curious if you could run a mission or two under the guise of "experimental weapons testing" with Antiproton weapons? The gimmick they have of just hitting like a Train is great.
Very cool.
Man I love all your videos but watching these missions are some of the best your comments and not having speakers for my computer I don't get the audio so I enjoy it.
Thank you Rick.
22:17 I keep thinking Martok keeps calling Madran "cupcake".
I don't think the U.S.S. Enterprise is the U.S.S. Odyssey. I thought they were two separate ships, the Odyssey being the class leader and prototype, the Enterprise being another ship of the same class. According to the information I can find, the Enterprise was a Block I/S, one of the first refits of the initial Block I, which was the Odyssey herself. The Enterprise was then further refit as a Block II/S, the Yorktown subclass.
In game terms, the U.S.S. Odyssey is an Odyssey Star Cruiser, the basic one which was given out for free during the 2nd Anniversary event, and is now purchasable from the fleet store. The U.S.S. Enterprise was one of the first trio of Zen Store ships, the Odyssey Science Cruiser. Those are still in the Zen Store under Tier 5 ships.
I'm going to have an existential crisis when therew no more story series to watch 😦
Ah, Yorktown upgrades. Looks like you kept the original pylons though? I certainly would agree with that idea. The pylons of the Yorktown are it's only real unfortunate change imo.
But... The improved subspace drag and warp field geometry?
Is there going to be a pincer move on the USS Charmin so we will get a quote saying, someone "Don't squeeze the Charmin!"
I enjoy this series
Madran makes Quark look like a good person at this point.
honestly I was expecting to see the Lexington myself, curse you temporal prime directive! ;)
I really like Martok's raid on J'mpok's shipyards around this time, it's a fun TFO for sheer crazy
I kinda want L'Rell's outfit for one of my characters.
Annd 23:12 made me snicker. :-)
Hang on, didn't this happen before? Raiding Rura Penthe for prisoners to fight? That was a strategy Aakar employed. And the KDF have not learned from that lesson?
Rick: she's also a very tall lady
Me: humm that she is...i wonder how she would look wareing a long low cut white dress like a certain other very tall lady
I remember what, Dr. McCoy sad
"She's a good ship now you treat her like a lady now you hear and she'll always bring you home."
PS I don't know if I got the wording correct but the sentiment is there
Oh sorry I just realized you were talking about L'Rell. My bad 😅
@@NCC-72545A i am honestly baffled that you missed the reference to lady D from resident evil village
Keep in mind that she'd also be even more fond of using those very long and very *sharp* nails...
@@shmee123ful yeah I was never into the Resident Evil movies or games.
I did see the first movie however and it really turned my stomach plus I've never liked horror movies let alone zombie movies and yet somehow I can play against zombies in the Call of Duty World at War video game
Also I do admit that I enjoy both of the Zombieland movies because they're more comedy than horror
Great video. I'm still laughing over your opening statement. Martok sounds a bit inebriated. Has he been hitting the blood wine too much?
Well he did as far as he knows got back from going literally to hell so you can excuse him for wanting a drink or dozen.
I like the way he says 'a politician', like it's a dirty word. :-)
Wasn't House Korath the same ones that held the Chrono Deflector in Voyager's Endgame?
Yes it was
They are also the house responsible for upholding the KDF's temporal prime directive.
Will you continue with this series by going back and playing side missions?
i don't recognize some of the klingons ships here
can't find them on the wiki either
....So close yet so far, regarding my guess of a new Armiger. Oh well.
Did you actually get a new ship or did you just update the visuals?
Basically, he bought the extra parts cosmetics for the ship he had.
Or he got the legendary for everything.
2:47 Someone has been playing FF14 methinks?

Great L'rell the Klingorc
Out of all of them L'rell is the most normal out of them.
@@barrybend7189 still a klingorc
I didn't know that the House of Kang still existed. After all, Kang died with no heirs, as his son died due to the Albino.
General Kang's direct lineage is gone but not the family line. Houses are like clans.
