- "A DAY LONG REMEMBERED" Part 1
Houses Kang, Martok, Korath, Noggra as well as the Orion Syndicate and the Gorn have assembled under the banner of L'Rell and J'ula alongside the Armiger in preparation to warp to the Klingon home planet of Qo'nos. We are outnumbered, but we have a plan.

I was so friggin hype when you split the Armiger in battle. Almost forgot I was watching a game and not a show for a sec. I've done all these missions in game but its so much better following a captain along the ride.
Plus his comments are much better than anything I can think of when I'm commanding a starship.
Love the series, as I've stated before....Rick, your storytelling is, truly, what makes this series so incredibly watchable.
Seconded. 🖖
Today is a good day to watch the star trek story series
Qapla'
Glory to you and your house.
The Nog story was so touching because IIRC this mission came out not to long after Aron passed away and you can tell that everyone was still thinking of him.
Glory to you...and your UA-cam account!!!

Your STO story videos are some of the best videos I have seen in my life. I have the game too. And watching a a story series about this game made it better for me.
It is nice that in this mission that we get to seem more on the statues of non-Klingon member species of the Klingon Empire. Such additions tend to be a few and far between. If/when there are any future map expansions it would be cool to see the Homeworlds of these species. As for end of this Klingon Civil War arc being near, it does have some nice poetic scenes like the mentioning of Praxis, Ric's dialogue and the custom music adds to that even more.
You know after last week I realized that there's one piece of the STO story that you haven't covered yet.
It's the Starfleet tutorial mission.
I hope with the introduction of the new one, you have it planned for some time in the future.
It would be interesting to see Ric playing the new tutorial. I just hope the bugs in it are fixed by then, but you never know with Cryptic.
Well, he still hasn't done the entirety of the Klingon and Romulan Story Arcs either, only the first few missions for each.
Don't forget the cut missions like The Guardian of Forever/Carl
@@Geth7777 The Guardian of Forever mission was removed years ago. They keep promising to bring it back someday, but I'm highly doubtful.
You mean don't forget them like the devs did?
4:30 "Ah yes, arrogance and stupidity all at once! How efficient of you."
20:00 "I will _rule_ this sector, or see it burn to ashes around me!"
Ah Mengsk. What a lad.
"Helm! Bring us into Knife Fighting range!"
Man, Martok really said "drive me closer, i want to hit them with my sword"
That saucer separation was awesome!
Actually, Lord Acton's Dictum is "Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power, corrupts absolutely." This originally referred to the "popes," but this also applies in the fictional account of Jm"pok, it seems.
Love this storyline, fascinating fusion of Star Trek’s D&D (DS9 and Disco, I’m not funny)
Btw, the Vo'Dewl carrier was new when this mission was released. We _finally_ got a T6 version of the Vo'Quv, one of my favourite KDF ships.
At last, my Orion captain could upgrade her flying starbase, and now rules the Yu'Gung II.
It's a proper carrier, able to support both fighter wings and a couple of corvettes. It's equipped with precision targeting sensors and has the potential for advanced electronic warfare suits. Well worth the effort to acquire, if you're into that sort of thing.
Actually you do have Jurisdiction over Jmpok.
He fired on a Alliance installation. Which meant he fired on Federation citizens and Starfleet Diplomatic Corp members.
That alone is a crime worth engaging in battle for. The Prime Directive does not apply for self-defense.
A pity they could not spare Starfleet or even the Romulan Fleet for this. But if such a large _foreing_ force were to invade Klingon space, all the neutral houses would propably rally to him in defense of the status quo.
The Federation and Romulan fleets are also busy holding off raiders and keeping the collateral to a minimum.
In my headcanon starfleet sent a galaxy wing with orders to arrest J'mpok.
Captain Y'llara may be made of pixels but damn, those Orion ladies are a good reason to join the Empire...QAPLA!!!
Glory to you.
For glory! For honor! For the algorithm!
Those weren't Raptors, they were Hegh'ta Heavy Birds of Prey
martok: "YEEEAHHHH!"
Best part of the game right here: Martok remembering that time Nog told him to move. Bar none.
Interesting parallels to current events.
Indeed. Starfleet or even the Romulan Fleet could have easily defeated Jmpoks current forces.
Yet a large foreign fleet entering Klingon space would have only rallied more neutral. houses to his side.
i know that the Klingon head ridges have only gotten more absurd over time. But L'Rell is just overdoing it with that...tiara? headband? Face trident?
that golden metal thing is an accessory not apart of her actual ridges remove that thing and her head ridges look "normal"
Martok's wife, Lady Cerrella?, wears one as well.
"Gotten more absurd over time..." I guess you say that from our timeline point of view, not the in-lore one.
She is technically or part "Kling-Orc" (Discovery Klingon) and they were/are ornate.
But unlike others L'rell is is rather tame by comparison.
Return of the classic Gorn design might mean something for SNW, we’ll see 👀
The classic Gorn design has been ingame since day 1.
@@mrspidey80 I thought it came in with Agents of Yesteryear?
Nope since day one.
@@barrybend7189 ye but there weren’t as many of them walking around in the game’s present day maps if I remember correctly. I could still be wrong
Bravo once again!?
"Once more into the breach dear friends, once more."
King Henry V of England in the 9th century A.D.
It was in a web series called Star Trek hidden Frontier that I the story of these words this king of England was asking his people to give up their love of Peace so they may defend their country.
The episode of that web series had a fleet of federation Starships blockading the Briar Patch against a Thulleeon Fleet with the Admiral of that Federation Fleet quoting Henry the 5th words.
Now L'Rell does the same for the people of the Klingon Empire. In Canon these words were spoken by words were spoken to both by General Chang, during the battle of khitomer ST XI The Undiscovered Country, and 7 of 9 spoke them in the previous arc of Star Trek online series.
To all those in Ukraine 🇺🇦 May the words of Henry V also steal in your hearts in these time of War.
Glory to all of you and your house
J'Ula: If I die, can you kil...
My Crazy Evil Admiral: Yes. Want me to use a blade or phaser.
I love how the auto subtitle mistook "once more unto the breach" for "once more unto the ridge". It's wrong but fitting.
A Klingon having a disagreement with a 4th wall entity such as a viode game's lighting engine is very... Klingon. For a species that slew their gods, to also force light itself into submission is only fitting.
1:50 - nice shot.
Ahhh this is so good .mooooaarrr pleeeaasseee
"Helm, bring us into boardsiding range, we're crossing the entire fleet's T!"
-CAPT Katherine Kerman
I can't wait until you get caught-up.
Absolute power corrupts, absolutely.
"This will be a day long remembered, we have seen the end of the Romulan Republic we will soon see the end of the Klingon Rebellion!"
Admiral Vader
Mmmmm.. been saving up episodes for my vaccation. Damn you'r good...
Today is a glorious day to die
Absolute power corrupts absolutely
More Klingorcs
Woooo, let’s do thissss
Looks like you're getting the same stutter bug that I am. In addition to lag spikes.
I think everyone is. I'm convinced that whatever is causing the lag is also behind some of the crazy spawn bugs I've been experiencing. STO is almost unplayable at the moment because of it.
@@goldenknight578 Yeah I'm only signing in to do the daily event thingy.
Everybody is.
I begin to admire the design of the odyssee class ... its a very good design!!
At first i found the double lobed neck to be quite awefull ... but now i see the wisdom behind it.
So in all this time, no one thought to remove the bomb?
I wouldn't be surprised if they couldn't without the bomb well...Exploding.
What is the Soundtrack at 16:56 when the IKS K't'inga comes out of the mycelial rift with the Elachi fleet?
Because to me it sounds great to listen to.
The Awakening by Patrick Patrikios :D
@@CertifiablyIngame Thank you🙂
I have a question, were is worf during all this? You'd think he'd be involved
What shield does the Armiger have for the mesh effect? Is it the Adapted MACO or regular MACO?
Oh boy, I see you recorded this during the current server rubber banding woes and bugs. Hopefully it wasn't a pain to edit around.
I'm getting nervous; what happens when you're officially caught up with the current storyline? An examination of the early years of STO, maybe?
Thought this was a Klingon story, not those weird things from Discovery.
Quapla
Glory to you and your house.
The klingons really are my favorite race from star trek they are pretty much alien space vikings. They have a strong sense of honor and loyalty as there guiding principles that still not so strong that they are just boring all brawn no brains people, also kahless and other legendary klingons like L' Rell remind of the Norse gods kahless being part Thor part Oden and L' Rell is definitely Freya and of course sto' vo'kor is Valhalla and gre'thor is niflheim
As much as I despise Star Trek Discovery and the lore it tried to introduce. the actress who plays L'Rel is wonderful.
Didn't Martok get a replacement eye at some point?
It doesn't seem very Klingon to cover up and conceal scars. They would be marks of pride.
No, the first time we meet martok he's been replaced with a changling so he has 2 eyes, When Bashir talks about getting a replacement as it hinders his ability to fight martok makes it clear he doesn't want cybernetics.
@@KenshiImmortalWolf And the injury that cost him his eye also ruined the socket to a degree that not even years of exposure to the metaphasic radiation of the Briar Patch harnessed by the Son'a could undo (and quite possibly made worse by the tissue growing wrong).
@@kevinramsey417 General Chang wore an eyepatch in Star Trek VI, but since it was riveted to his forehead and cheekbone I'd say it was more impressive than a regular scar.
I dont like this new story incorporating the elements of the STD klingorks. Is there an in-universe explanation for why they look like another species, or why their antique warbirds look more modern than the originals? And why does J'Ula want to kill J'mpok and Aakar in battle? Doesnt that guarantee them a place in Stovokor? Wouldnt the most expedient way to guarantee their admission to Grethor be to take them alive and let them rot in a Starfleet prison? This script has too many holes. At least they didnt change Martok into a klingork. That would make this so much worse.
Now that that is out of the way, I love your work, Rick. Ive been binging your playlists for months now. Keep up the good work!
👍
I’ve not played STO in a while. I play on PS4 and for some reason my Klingon ship is all smooshed in on the sides
More details please.
@@gmradio2436 That's about it. Like my Federation and Romulan character ships are just fine but my Klingon's ship, the 'wings' on it are just smooshed in on the sides. There's an empty space between the wing and where they're suppose to connect to the ship, can see right through them.

? how do i activate the saucer on my dreadnought
You need a counsel for that witch comes with one of the odyssey ships in the C store.
@@BurningFlamesofDivineDragon You get a free counselor with the tier 6 Oddy? Cool.
Just kidding. I know you meant a saucer separation console. 😉
Chevron Separation from the T5 Odyssey Operations Cruiser. Another of the T5 Odysseys has the console for the Aquarius Support Craft.
@@Janoha17 so i asume there is no way to have the aquarius the saucer and the delta flight group on same ship my t6 teran odyssey dreanought have the aquarius at the back
@@kineuhansen8629 You'll have to buy all these ships and their consoles to get all of them. You can use all of them on one ship, if it is an Oddy type. If I remember correctly, you might even get a set bonus from them.
Jimpoc as Trump allegory
why do the female orions always looks like pole dancers?
i get their suppose to be REALLY attractive, but for military personnel that just seems like a bad idea
You can make all sorts of justifications, like, "it's a power play and shows they are unafraid" or "they just really want to show off". And I kind of get that approach, but at the end of the day it's just an excuse to ogle them. Plus most of the men are shirtless too.
@@CertifiablyIngame i dont mind the view i just dont imagine many orions living to retirement
Yeah, its very strange that all the Orion women as part of the Orion Syndicate are decked out like lodubyaln (The slave girls) when we do see canonical sources of Orion women wearing more civilian clothing.
