The spawn algorithm is designed to make sure you die. You literally get spawned right in front of people. I was playing on rust earlier and a dude literally spawned right on top of my mine 3 feet in front of me triggering the mine and killing me, I spawned between two enemies running straight towards me from each direction.

theres like a little utility cupboard 2 players & its full . 5 players spawned in there from 2 teams !?
but Rust is designed to be hard and unforgiving, that's why you gotta start as soon as the map resets and not join too late
Tbf it's hard to get good spawns on a map that small. I remember there being weird spawns on that map all the way back in 09.

It’s so funny they say connection is 1st. Everybody always has a .7 kd - 1.55 kd in 95% of the matches. Not to even get to the point when a enemy strafes across an automatic rifle multiple times(not just once). Horrible Management > that’s the bottom line

In my opinion, the last cod for boots on the ground, and somewhat realistic, was cod ghosts. Very underrated game. It came out in the wrong era. Was never supposed to be a ps3 title and that's why the maps were "empty". Because it was never meant for 6v6
Agreed , jet packs & ragnoraks & blueprinted craftables arent the way . Ghosts had some of the last truly unique maps too ,now they are all the same 3 lanes some stairs & couple of camp spots
Rather go back to big empty maps than the bullshit small maps we have now like Killhouse, Meat, Dous House, Shipment, Rust.

25 year old here, COD has turned into a MARVEL movie where everyone moves like the Flash. Movement and SBMM is why i quit long ago.

People keep buying the same game because every time CoD tried to change things up everybody started screaming about how they wanted the same thing again. The sales figures prove that people don't want them to do anything new.
Exactly this. I always hear people make the same complaints every year. COD switched up with Advanced Warfare and the jet pack cods and then people started complaining saying they wanted boots on the ground back. They did WW2 and people complained saying they wanted modern day Cod back. Now they've literally done a remake of the original MW2 and people still find something to complain about. The funny thing is these are the same ppl that seem to purchase the newest COD every year.

I'm not, the last cod I bought was cold war, and it's the last one that felt like an actual cod game to me. Hopefully treyarch releases something good this year.
Believe it or not I don’t play cod anymore. I’ve been playing different things like borderlands 2 halo ext. I actually enjoy playing,plus I enjoy playing Mario kart with my wife

The only CoD I've only bought and played in many years is Black Ops Cold War (but I have played Betas for all the CoDs) when the Xbox Series X was released and I only played it for a bit, but not that much due to the SBMM.
I fairly recently came back after a couple of years, back when the game was fixed from vulnerabilities and PS+ users were given the game for free a while back. I turned off crossplay and most games tend to feel like classic CoD, at least if you play objective modes, and not TDM or FFA, which tend to be camp fests. It definitely feels like a Treyarch CoD for the most part, so I've been having fun. I don't recall you playing it much, because it definitely wasn't the best, but it's become the best of the new gen CoD's IMO, and I'd like to see you give it a try again. The scorestreaks are strong, and they even have the OG Black Ops chopper gunner in the game.
one thing I never understood was whats the point of a higher ttk if the movement is crazy quick, just pushing more people to sweat and use metas which pushes even more people to sweat and use metas
Last COD I bought was BO4, I figured the SBMM shit out in the MW19 beta and didn't get the game. Haven't gotten it since, now I'm just wasting the train wreck as it tries to move along the rails.

The algorithm controls your ping. I was playing with my girl in the same house same connections she had 20 ping I had 70 ping
Bro I live right next to the Florida server in miami and I always get 80 ping wich im supposed to get 5 ping.
I see no point buying cod anymore. People pay to be manipulated in their recreational activity. It's crazy. Activision's matchmaking patent makes it pretty clear they can rig the game whenever they want in like 100 different ways. Then content creators like Jev basically call it a conspiracy theory that people think they nerf damage in real time, give people who buy stuff easier lobbies and bots that are made to look like real people. The patent literally says all of the stuff people have been thinking is going on. Completely crazy that people would be so willfully ignorant. Last cod I bought was MW2019 and I tried to return it but Wal-Mart wouldn't let me.

Age? I’m 40 and dropped 40 in ranked, hitting aces in snd. The game is fast but it’s the spawns or the lower tier player vanishing in gun smoke or just disappearing off screen.

You sure about that. Have you played Derail, Wasteland, Estate or even Invasion when the opposing team has Embassy spawn? I deliberately back out of every lobby that has these maps selected unless it's Hardpoint because they are a campers paradise. The faster movement of this game does help to circumvent them but on those maps camping snipers are unavoidable.
I’m not and never will buy another cod ever again, last one I bought was Cold Snore. I’ve been playing/enjoying other games lik Mario Kart, Final Fantasy VII Remake, Horizon Zero Dawn, Borderlands 2, and more….

I Feel you @402THUNDER402 the same shit that's why I only play zombies from Cold war / Black ops 3 zombies & now recently just started to play Warzone still learning the mechanics in this sweaty ass game tho ridiculous but I'll say it is fun to play warzone over multiplayer definitely in my opinion atleast I didn't pay 70+ for multiplayer only payed 30$ for Blackcell for skins on battle pass worth it for me that's all.
I have been saying this for about 10 years it turned into madden football with small cosmetic changes then it went sideways to put the scrubs on equal footing by increasing their hit boxes sizes and shrinking our. You forgot to activate the remote turret?

Honestly, the health, ttk, and movement is so cranked up.. 6v6 has become Warzone without armor. You can't push a fight now without it being stacked by the whole team. The cranked up movement combined with 150 healthr means youre rarely ever getting a clean fight. Even after the boost, the health regen is so long, that thier teammates are just gonna bum rush you and mop you. Stun grenades are overly busted and spammed to high heaven, and tac mask counters none whatsoever. 😂

For me it’s because deep down I love call of duty. However if I don’t enjoy a cod I don’t play it. MW3 is the best multiplayer we’ve had in years and I’m really enjoying it. Warzone resurgence is fun for me and that’s where I’ve been getting most of my playtime for the past couple years. It sucks that I have to gamble $70 every year but that’s the way it goes
Last CoD game I bought was MW 2019... Once I saw that the game had become too complicated, and started to cater to new palyers, I left. I am so glad I did. Spending a lot more of my time playing less stressful games.
Agreement with you thunder. Only brought 1 game in the last 5 or 6 cods(it was on a discount). Fed up playing with sweaty try hards plus not happy with the algorithms determing whom wins the gun play because of your ping. Had far too many 'shoot 1st die 1st moments' for me to enjoy this franchise.
The older cods still exist bro. I’ve been playing the original mw2 for a while no.. and the randomness of skill level in lobbies from day to day is refreshing. Matchmaking as it should be, public matches where you’re actually playing the public. I didn’t buy the latest cods because there are too many choices by activision that I can’t agree with, SBMM and too short deadlines for developers etc. Not going to tell you what to do, but if you feel like the publisher of the game isn’t listening to you and the public, maybe consider not buying the next game. Sit this one out and go enjoy the older games. They are still there.

The MWII maps play better than the MW2 maps lol And they played even better in MWII because that game gave your movement weight, affecting how and where battles would play out in a way that suited those maps better than in MWIII. Not to mention the spawns being at least somewhat worse in MWIII's current state. Probably an unpopular opinion, but I wanted to share it.

The SBMM is what’s killing this game for me,I’m a level 342 with a 1.19 KD .59 WLR the enemy teams feel like pros when I play against them,my team are the ones that barely get 15 kills while most of the enemy team have 20+ kills (along with myself) that shit is annoying! Maps play slow as shit cause of 6v6,the flow of the game is honestly slow af overall the small maps seem best cause of the pace of them. Graphics to me are complete trash,very dull color. The guns are ok,some guns are good,OP etc but theirs not really any that can compete with the good ones. Core game mode is sweaty af,hardcore is WAYY TO CAMPY. streaks are ass,love the overwatch chopper but as you said they get shit down quick after. The perks are trash. Snipers are trash. We need to throw away every cod since 2019 and redo some Bo2 etc. at the end of the day I paid $70 myself for the game and could kick my own ass for because it’s horrible and a pissing contest every match!
Forgot to mention:
The spawns are ABSOLUTELY HORRID! I get spawned behind all the time. Most time I spawn in front of the enemy right IN HIS SIGHTS!
Call of duty after ghosts or in some form BO4 was when it started to decline, call of duty doesn't feel any genuine fun without getting some "recommendation" for a lousy skin
I think part of the reason is because its familiarity and maybe some people think theres a possibility that the newest cod game will finally be better than the last one.

Thunder is just one of those people that will complain about anything. The only thing I dislike is the SBMM but other than that it's a solid game.
The Sbmm just kills it for me, the bundles are as well but it’s not like I have to buy them but me just trying to relax and play a couple games without feeling my blood pressure boil has become impossible at this point, I have been playing zombies the majority of the time but with no new content I have nothing to play for honestly and I’m pretty sure they will cancel it like they did DMZ, if it doesn’t make them any money they scrap it. Hopefully Xdefiant is good so I can just leave COD alone because it will never be the same.
The sound profile for the weapons sounds different for MW3, that's the biggest giveaway despite the imported maps. Streaks are terrible. BO3/BO4 and MW 2019 were the last good games.

Your skills is wavering, you don't watch your corners, you don't hug the corner of the map where your sides are protected, your aim is off, you dont take cover in encounters, you dont check your back before placing anything down, thats all I have noticed so far.

The damn weapon sway is what annoys me. Just bring back the aiming mechanics from BO4 and remove disbanding lobbies and I will be fine. Won’t happen.
As similar as OG MW2 and MW3 were, you can clearly tell which is which if you put them side to side. The only giveaway un this gameplay that it is MWIII is that small ass tac-stance icon. As someone that quit MWII in the middle of its lifecycle, and don't know which weapons got added after that, this is literally the same ass game. There are so many dead giveaways that this was a dlc its both funny and sad.
