This series is getting better with each episode! Thanks for including some behind-the-scenes mojo. As a fan from the start of Top Chef lo those many years ago, it's a lot of fun to see.
What a beautiful, and evidently tasty, dish! Mei Lin is so chill and focused when she cooks it is a pleasure to watch her 😊
Glad to hear them address what they do with excess food! Good on them.
I love seeing Kristen's reactions to food, makes me want to try Mei Lin's food! such a clever take using the cranberry's tartness and bitterness
Kind of wish they said that Mei Lin is also a champion on Tournament of Champions. She is a beast.
I love Mei Lin
Love this show! I look forward to it every week.
I'm glad to see Stephanie with the Top Chef family still
She is giving me Cruella in the most magnificent way. Love this lady ❤❤❤
Can we just talk about how effortlessly fabulous Kristen's fashion is this entire season?
Stunning!
That's a great alternative to Umeboshi! 😋😋😋
Are there ever recipes posted for these?
After the curing, do y’all just rinse off the salt? How do we get the fish that clean?
Interesting that former contestants, so far Stephanie and Jamie, are a part of the “family” still.
I think Stephanie has the job that Lee Anne Wong used to do in the earlier seasons.
Clearly we need a top chef winners bracket - my money is on Melissa King though.
I think my top 4 rankings would be
1. Buddha - two time winner, and insanely talented
2. (redacted) - people forget that he ran away with his season.
3. Brooke
4. Melissa
I think I'd put Mei as fifth. Which would realistically put her at fourth since (redacted) is never getting invited back.
@@kevwwong Paul (I'm assuming) was great but I don't think he faced anyone of the caliber that Buddha or Mel did. I think having Buddha 1 is justified, but to be honest, he kind of bores me a little. 1. Mel, 2. Buddha, 3. Kristen 4. Blais/Mike Voltaggio
@@patfenn399 I think the talent on that season wasn't as strong overall, but you still had some tough outs like Sarah Grueneberg, Beverly Kim and Ed Lee.
All these top chef contestants are either lack of experience or plain ignorance.
They can follow a recipe but not much of their own creations.
Only a couple stands out from the crowd.
Can Gail judge one elimination without wearing a tight top that shows way more than we want to see?
