Thank you for all your help. I’m not goggling anymore like I was. But I still look for assurances from other people. But I’m working on it. And I have major trust issues with doctors because it seems like most of them are crooks and just want to take your money. And do unnecessary procedures. And tell you one price then charge you another price in a month or two. I supposedly have eoe autoimmune disease and had major issues with my sinuses that required surgery. I pray that everything was real and they just weren’t scamming me

thank you for your videos can you talk about the problem with manifesting, it is an idea that our thoughts dictate our lives, that if you think that you already have something you are gonna attract that, which is terribly wrong and I think you can understand what fears it can bring to people who have OCD so I think that is really important topic and manifesting is getting popular

Hi! I don’t believe in manifestation as such but I do believe in somatisisation. As in, if I start worrying about a certain disease, I’ll develop the symptoms. This happened to me a ton back when I was struggling!

i have health anxiety and ocd but also believe in manifesting bc it’s changed my life for the better. i rarely struggle w compulsions anymore or health anxiety episodes bc of manifestation. ofc everyone is different but it works for me :) i believe in the law of assumption and it’s not that your thoughts dictate your life but more so your deep rooted beliefs and assumptions

So does that mean looking for reassurance from videos like this? Just curious.

Thank you for your advice and it means a lot to me. I was dealing health anxiety for years. My biggest concern right now is about food Intolerance, have you ever convince yourself that you are dealing with food sensitivity and you try to avoid certain foods that you think you it can trigger your health problem. I used to think that I'm dealing with celiac disease after watching about the video on UA-cam even back then I don't have the intolerance about gluten. I'm thinking if it's true or it's just an IBS that causes sensitivity to my gut. Thank you for your answer!😇

Omg are you me??? That was what I was crying about for literally a week. I figured it was my anxiety causing IBS symptoms because after I stopped stressing it went away.

@@hk-nm8oxThat's good to hear, have you ever think that you are dealing with food Intolerance like gluten etc., In the past few weeks I used to think of it and I'm so literally obsessed about it and it dragging me down. I don't know if it's due to IBS or perhaps a celiac disease. What kind of symptoms have you experience?

    • @hk-nm8ox

@@user-lb9fm8zq5u I had all the celiac disease symptoms but without celiac. I had irregular periods - because of my stress.
Really weird looking stool - because of stress
Muscle aches - because of stress
I forgot the other symptoms but I remember checking each one of them off and panicking, shaking, crying and calling my dad in a panic.
I promise you, you don’t have celiac disease it’s your health anxiety telling you that.
If u want I can message u on instagram and reassure you more cuz I wish someone did that for me when I got the celiac disease scare

I guess I am just lost at what to do. I have a life and I can’t function and do what I need to do without avoiding and distracting. What’s the alternative? Is medication needed?

I took Sertraline from 2017 to 2019 but sadly it didn’t do much. I came off all meds in January of 2020

They were never swollen to begin with. I just thought they were. Pea/bean sized lymph nodes aren’t swollen so mine are of course, still there. Hope that helps!

Avoidance of what? I am not sure of this one? Can someone please explain this one please?

    • @cherellethinks
      @cherellethinks  Рік тому +1

Hi! What I mean by avoidance is when someone with anxiety actively avoids something. Such as.. avoiding going to the gym because they worry about their heart or avoid looking at your body in the shower because the person is too scared they’ll find something or perhaps avoiding driving because the person is scared of their brain fog. Hope this helps to clarify!
