    Compliments to both of you! Kind of Bjorn to offer his car to the other fellow, but also very nice that he trusted Bjorn with his newer car!

    Bjorn, what a gentleman you are to (temporarily) swap you car for Kristan and children back to Oslo.

      I was expecting to get a challenge of only slow-charging at 11 kW on the way home. No fun with superchargers ;)

      So what was Kristan's Model S 90D problem with intermittent SuperCharger functionality? Did he/you find out? -- be not dismayed; other challenges will arise for you to test. Blessedly, we observe and learn from you!

      Daniel Murray I don't know. But it was fixed OTA.

      @@bjornnyland Dear Bjorn! What's your opinion, could this handle a europe roadtrip, with big and relatively heavy 57kg icamper rooftop tent on top of it and a maximum towing limit of 2000lbs, 900kg carvan, with aftermarket tow bar behind it (the caravan would be relatively aerodinamic)? I would be curious about the consumption, i want to travel from Budapest (Hungary) to Seville (Spain) with this setup. The trip whould be in mid november out and mid march back once a year. I'm thinking about buying the the old 85 85d the facelift 75 75d and 90d. Which model would have enough range if I would not use any highways or payed roads? What do you think? Thanks in advance!

    +Bjørn Nyland you should do a review of the 100D ! Like do a real world range test.

    What''s up with the drive unit replacement?
    What''s the Tesla statement about it?

    Do you have any videos on the nature of your drive unit problems and what it sounds like? Fingers crossed, I haven't had any issues with my P85+ drive unit.

    spotted a white Model S Facelift today on the highway (Oslo) and i fell in love

    Regarding the stepping in & out of the face-lifted Model S, I swap between two driving profiles, which memorizes the seat and steering column positions.
    It works pretty good once it becomes part of your routine :)

    Björn...is this your second drive train replacement done on your car? If yes, why so poor quality? I thought they had fixed the quality issue with the drive train?

    haha, I assume you told Kristan about it, supercharging working again. What was his reaction?

    • @bjornnyland
      @bjornnyland  8 років тому +7

      Tesla told Kristian that the problem was fixed. But to be sure, he should test it on a supercharger. He didn't have time to test it before having to return from Stockholm to Oslo and he didn't want to risk of it failing again.

      To be sure, Tesla took in the car for extra testing yesterday, all values was
      normal and there were no faults detected :-)
      Tesla did what they could, very happy with how they handled
      the situation.

    Aside from the difficulty of getting in and out of the seats, how do you like the driving comfort of the next generation seats in the new Model S?

    • @bjornnyland
      @bjornnyland  8 років тому

      I feel that they are a bit too cramped. Too sporty. Model X seats are perfect. It's a mid between standard seats and nextgen.

      I know he does, but this is his third or fourth replacement. Also the car is out for fours years now. I would hope they'd make a permanent fix by now.

      This video is almost one month old. I had my 3rd replacement a few weeks ago. The car is 2.5 years old (delivered November 2013).
