  • These cars are depreciating heavily in 2024! You're probably going to want to avoid them because you could lose more than your shirt if you're buying these cars and SUVs. This is my advice and my take on car depreciation in 2024. So avoid some of these cars from Audi, BMW, Mercedes, Maserati, and more!

Audi a4,a5,a6,a3,q5, since 2017 with the 2.0 liter 4 cylinder use a 7 speed dual clutch transmission. A4 and a5 coupe or sportback share almost identical depreciation. S4, s5, and SQ5 first off have 349 horsepower and a zf8 transmission. The video is informational, but get the information correct. Any car after five years unless very unique or special is going to drop 50 percent in five years. At an average of 15000 miles per year that puts it at 60,000 miles. I don’t think you can even certify a car that old with that mileage. I love both the Audi and bmw brands, but that being said the b58tu from 2019 and on is the special motor from bmw. The 4 cylinder offerings from both brands are both pretty great.

I traded in a 2022 Hyundai Tucson this month. Obviously, trading in a 2022 is never going to be great but Hyundai is terrible. I’m pretty sure I paid about $35k for the Tucson. I got $17,500 back in trade after 3 years with 48,000 miles. The dealer has it listed for $21,500. Pretty terrible residual value. First and last Hyundai I’ll ever own and trying to get service was a painful experience. I just want a reliable car and got a 2025 Lexus NX350h.

And you'll have problems all the time even if you don't put many miles on in my experience.

A community of robbers making these way over price knowingly the car loses value wow!
