What an amazing opportunity guys! Kudos to Andy for being the first to allow this! I think this could be an amazing training opportunity and practice opportunity for kayakers in the future! Wonderful to see the forward thinking progression!
So cool! Always wanted to put a kayak on one of these surf waves! We are hopefully getting one in our town within the next two years, which would be amazing because we don't have a nice wave nearby.
That looked like a lot of fun, and the option to change from a wave to a hole is also cool! But of course you guys make it look easy! I've seen several indoor and outdoor artificial waves that downright refuse to allow kayakers in, so that is a plus. On the other hand, the prices for that kind of experience also seem to be quite high. 56 Euro for a shared (with 12 persons) wave for 45 minutes seems quite steep to me, and 470 euro for 45 minutes of exclusive wave riding is painfully expensive!
Yeah mate, there’s definitely a lot of potential to break the wave if you try a trick and don’t land it. But for people wanting to learn to flat spin and carve its a pretty amazing tool and of course you can do tricks on it if you’re a 100% sure you’re going to land it. I had nightmares of spearing into the bottom and breaking it😱
I grew up surfing ocean waves on a surfboard but started kayaking when l moved inland in a whitewater river rich area. Two things l learned; surfboards work best on ocean waves and whitewater kayaks on river waves.
The other day I had some time to kill in Munich and went to have a look at the wave. Not sure how much fun it is to surf in a kayak, but the idea of kayaking in the middle a crowded park along with the local surfing community seems just really nice to me. If you get to try it out one day I'll be happy to learn about how it turned out!
Dude I’ve rallied to let the pool down the street from my house let me do this and there’s a mean …. Large…. Not so pretty lady running the show and she keeps saying hard no!! Mannnnn n

NICE!! Well done!
Legendary!
Surprised they let you in. I’ve tried at many indoor waves. They are so concerned that a kayak will break the pool. Good on ya’s
Incredible to learn freestyle but also rescues ?!
Wonderful
Sick, that looks so damn cool
childhood stuff !! You should have used the parachute tunnel with your kayaks !!
Damn, that looks like fun...
I sooo love one of those locally.
I need this in my house.

Agreed! I found the same out surfing in the ocean in my kayak.
amazing 😍 love from Nepal.❤️❤️
Does it feel different paddling without a BA eg does it feel free'er and more natural?
Definitely. In the right context, it can make paddling a lot less constrained. In a relatively shallow, artificial pool where the sides are
I want one!
What is the model of the longest pyranha kayak. Not the JED. The other one? Thanks.
That’s the Ozone!
what's the depth there? does the paddle not touch the bottom?
great tricks
Nice facility. German technology, gotta love it!
Not watched a senders video for a while and this was epic
So cool
Yeah, if they had that in my home town, I would spend my whole paycheck there!
Oh to be young and fit again! After 25 years I had to give up boating while I await a spine surgery :(
If I ever have a lot of money I’ll have one of these
Dude I said the same thing, I’m going to put mine in my living room… when I own a living room atleast
Guys, have you ever tried surfing Eisbach wave?
By the way, such a sick video!
Thanks mate! I haven’t but I definitely need to go check it out!
