I really like this story, it has magic, drama, some comedy, & action, I like the main character, I also like his amazing abilities, and so I hope more gets made of it.
beginning of story: "Crafting magic is worthless because blacksmiths can make the same stuff like 3 chapters later: "Crafting magic makes blacksmithing worthless because crafting magic can create tons of stuff of better quality, instantly." unfortunately this is the type of manga that dead ends itself from the beginning: MC has no mana cost, MC doesn't have to train and master his magic, so there is no more room to develop it, magic isn't interesting because it's so simple, you can build a mansion in a few seconds just by thinking about it. it relegated itself to filler
I can only assume that the main character is special in how much they can put blacksmiths out of a job. Would definitely be interesting to see what a normal person with that power can do. Also I bet the puppet power is gonna be used to animate golems made of the protagonists nanofibre to have unstoppable defenders
@@OlieB Literally, just make armor of Alphonse that can work on its own through puppetry or you wear for protection made out of super strong dragon scales. Plus armor can be overlapped and layered to fit so they can pseudo grow into it by full adulthood.
If crafting magic was really rare, there'd be no problems. Crafters would monopolize making blacksmiths hyper necessary, but crafting would pseudo be useless cause they'd stop to monopolize. MC being kind alleviates the issue.
I just stop watching right away when the mc is just a small brat who become op for no reason or hardwork, we need a legit isekai manga with cool badass adult mc that's not op from the start and dense, also didn't get involved with noble or unnecessary conflict.
This manga is where from every mother that posts on Facebook about their childreen feats take inspiration from. "My 1 year old said - down with the patriarchy, it oppresses beatiful women like you, my beloved mother".
Narration: "Till suggested hunting adventurers." Me: "that doesn't sound right..." The manga: "Till suggested hunting monsters." *_KIND OF A MAJOR DIFFERENCE THERE._* And one I'm noticing crops up more and more with these.
@@zerowitches Those who can't do teach. Those who can't write translate. I've noticed these channels _really_ like just making things up entirely. That characters said things they didn't _remotely_ say or did things they're visibly _not_ doing. Like "they were looking down in shame, crying." Meanwhile they're looking up and smiling bright. They're very clearly not making mistakes; they're just _making crap up._
Hmm...I'll admit I like the one with the City Building Power a bit more than this one, but I do think this one's good too. This is a much more general sort of ability, rather than a 'gamey' one, and allows for a lot of world interactions. You can even see WHY it might be considered weak, if most nobles are like the Father. I am curious if there's going to be a full conflict here with the Father later, given this has grown quite a bit from where he sent him. And unlike the City Builder, this was not an exile, but instead a 'reassigned to Antarctica' trope. He is only supposed to fail at this, not die or anything. Heck, with the amount of people he was bringing with him, he all but had the forces to ESTABLISH a new town here if need be, let alone come to take control of a failing one. Meanwhile they have done a lot to establish the various characters. I do think there's a few too many, as our MC loses the focus in several of these chapters, but I do also get this is trying to show that building, maintaining, and just managing the town takes a lot more than one person, no matter how skilled.
I agree with this except the exile part. It seems like the father is trying to cover all bases by exiling him, but making it look like he's giving him a chance.

He just put him somewhere he wouldn't have to look at his 'failure' of a son anymore. Of course, then he had the sheer GAL to not only survive, but succeed beyond anyone's expectations? He raised that boy better than to defy his father like this!
I have read a manga just like this one with said trope albeit a little it basically follows the same story in which the father does interact with the ":banished child".

This story is similiar to another child with the sytem to build any building he could imagine. The diference was this new story about a gifted child was a known ability called alchemy. so, this child's alchemy was magical due to the fact he could craft with out using physical tools magic was his tool ,along with his imagination & inteligence of mineral properties, mechanical blueprints of advance technology this world had not yet invented yet.
