I'd argue that mind control (along with curse magic) should be an absolute taboo that no person or monster should posses, period. But giving mind control to a domineering, manipulative control freak is just asking for trouble, let alone making her the "chosen one" and also giving her all magic. Then again, I'm biased because I've grown tired of the trope of gods or whatever being so foolish as to summon so-called "heroes" who are villains because they never, ever filter for personality flaws.

I mean, they're supposed to be deities, right? They're gods - immortal, all powerful beings. They can grant superhuman powers and abilities to mortals. So... why can't they just *REMOVE* said powers and abilities from the heroes? They can't argue: "Oh, but we're not allowed to interfere." Who says that can't interfere that way? Besides, they already interfered by summoning them and giving them powers. It's their responsibility, especially since they selected them and did a *horrible* job at it.

I'm reminded of a basic rule of Dungeons and Dragons (and some other tabletop games): Cleric and priestly type classes must obey the tenets/commandments of their deity and they must stay in their good graces. Otherwise, their deity can and will punish them, up to and including the removal of their powers (temporary or permanently). It's explained that such classes only have these powers by the grace of their deity.

I.....don't blame mc about not wanting to do anything with his older sister and let alone anyone that remind him of her. So far I'm rather glad that mc is voicing it out how he feel about some of the characters. I don't know I guess I just like mc who's just 'I'm really blunt here when I say this, don't.'
Added edit: like in a way, his sister alone have traumatize him enough that he rather want nothing to do with girls. Sure it might be boring to most but can you really blame him after having to deal with someone like her?
I do like it cause it show the affect on the mc after living with her around. You can't just expect him to recover from it and be around with girls without reminding him of his sister. The exception of leora or ashe for now only because she shown much of a character that give mc comfort, like a safety blanket that he feel comfortable to talk to.
