Definitely keep the cutscenes! Your reaction as a brand new viewer is really fun for me- I've been playing for nigh on 20 years and the lore is really deep.... I look forward to you learning who Neltharion is/was/will become. The journey is always better than endgame grinding. IMHO

If you end up doing the dungeon I would recommend trying a follower dungeon in 'Ruby Life Pools'. You'll go in with NPC's and can take it at your own pace, and have a good look around without rushing through chasing other players.

Bro. Keep cranking these out. The utmost wholesome series. It’s rare someone “new” to something doesn’t get jaded by haters in any realm. Especially wow.
Stay away from that drama because those are just their experience aka real life issues.
Enjoy the game how you want. And make friends a long the way. That’s what this games about. Need any help, you’ve got veterans who are here willing to assist. It’s best to self discovery but somethings are very helpful if you knew ahead of time.
    Cheers and happy adventuring!

Quick tip for you if no one else has said it! You can actually see the numbers for mobs health on their unit frame. You can go into the settings and under interface - Display you can change a setting called "status text". It gives you a few options to choose from for health numbers. Personally I always have mine set to "both". IMO knowing how much damage your abilities do AND how much health you need to get through with each mob should help you feel more confident in combat!

Your doing much better at the combat already, but keep in mind the talent choice Rampage is a key ability in the Fury rotation and you should unlock it and incorporate. Also, Q,E,R,T,F,Z,X,C,V,1,2,3,4 are premium keybinds you should be using for you abilities because they allow you to keep moving while attacking and this is really required in the endgame.

Following your journey just feels so wholesome! And I do think keeping the cut scenes in is worth it (The last one you saw was actually part three of the Dracthyr introduction questline scenes iirc, so it's missing a little bit of context). While Dragonflight's story itself isn't too complex, it ties up a lot of very old plot lines with characters from all sorts of expansions, so you might be confused sometimes.
As for dungeons, they take as long as you want them to basically. Experienced players will likely rush through them, so maybe try your first one with NPC followers. They'll give you a team of Ai controlled characters so you can play the content at your own pace!

    • @itszouty
      @itszouty  2 місяці тому

@Chireiya ahhh I see okay! I'm excited to witness some of the older lore that I'm sure will give me some aha moments with the lore I'm seeing now in the current storyline. And the npc group in the dungeon will be what I do first I think, seems like a great intro so I can take my time. Thank you for watching!

Man these are great to watch, I’ve been playing since vanilla and so it just feels so normal to me now. It’s great seeing the excitement and joy you have!
If you haven’t already I’d recommend in your free time watching lore videos. With such a long running game there’s a lot of assumed knowledge. You can learn who Wrathion and Neltharion are or all the NPC’s and lore that brought your character to this point.

It's unrelated to current stuff, but I highly recommend checking out the Wrathgate cinematic. It was the first proper in-game cinematic we had that wasn't just the trailers. It's about sixteen years old or so by now, but it's still great and includes a certain character you should be very familiar with.
Ideally I'd say play through the whole questline in Dragonblight (Northrend zone) and see the cinematic yourself in-game, but understandably that's a decent time commitment. If you ever played Warcraft 3 I'd recommend it as you'd see locales from the game.

At the pace you're going progression/narrative-wise, you might hit level 70 before you're done with the story (there are 6 zones worth of campaign quests in Dragonflight). Are you going to stick around in DF or continue onto The War Within's new continent once you're able to? I should mention that once TWW releases, the player population of The Dragon Isles will sharply and predictably drop as they move to the new content.

Ha the question about Wrathion's eyes is actually pretty interesting imo.
You would think is because of some corruption due to him being the son of an old aspect (neltharion/deathwing)
but no, honestly they just are because he thinks they are cool lol.
When dragons come of age they choose a visage, their appearance as one of the mortal races, and Wrathion just chose to have red eyes lol.
There is a very funny character that you'll meet later on the DF campaigned called Chromie and her backstory talks more about dragon visage and their picking it ^^

i would recommend keybinding frequently used abilities to Q E R T etc...for easy and quick access. you can also use shift + (-) or ctrl+ (-) etc. doing so right now will help you later down the line as you mentioned about building muscle memory. later you might want to add some macros as well. but let's not worry that for now. macros can combine more abilities into one keybind. you can also write your own macros that way you know what is in it.
