This man is a living legend and a true collector, only god knows how many piece unique or very limited watches he has in his collection! And also let's all remember when during a hodinkee interview he opened a very rare watch with a cheese knife, what a boss!
Wei Koh ACTUALLY let himself be interrupted by his interviewee twice in the video. That itself, IMHO, speaks to the weight of Mr. Goldberger much more than his amazing collection.
Saying this Wei Koh is so passionate about watches hence the reason he is so talkative and full of knowledge and enthusiasm. Don’t hold it against him. He is like a kid in a candy shop🤪
Thank you Revolution for this amazing video about Goldberger's Cartier watches. It's is rare to be able to find good content about Cartier watches. Please make more if you can.
First time I saw Mr Goldberger he open the case back of a 2M vintage Rolex with a knife, which he just whipped on his sports jacket sleeve. After that... He is up there, he is the boss.
This is what I love about watch collecting and those who do it. The knowledge they have as well as the passion. Wei knocking it out the park with this one as well. Goldberger is the GOAT
beautiful !!! very elegant my first luxury watch was a Tank cartier i still have it and love it, it s special to wear this especially with a costume, it makes me more quiet elegant and discret
Pick up the dictionary...look for the word *BOSS* , and you'll see this guy's picture 😎 P.s. Wei has come a long way as an interviewer..he now lets the collectors express themselves without interrupting. Props to that 👍🏻👍🏻
It is rather an accomplishment to know, in which year the timepieces were made. Because I guess, most timepieces from the case didn‘t have an invoice and documentation for the Cintree isn‘t as available as it is for other modells.
It has two full deck watch box, and we couldn't even get a full shot for all of his watch? All we get is a glimpse of a dozen of watches out of 36. You need to at least gives an overview shot of all of his watch, then go to it one by one. This way it would be more informative.
You realize that the movements of vintage cartiers of that time are made by JLC? Cartier has an extremely rich horological history. Including making the first men’s wristwatch.
THE HOST IS AN EMBARRASSMENT TO HIMSELF, THE WATCH INDUSTRY AND ANYONE ASSOCIATED WITH HIM.. WHO IS HE? Asian RALPH LAUREN X ITALIAN FROM NEW JERSEY X I ll JUST WEAR ALL MY COOL RINGS... 🙈🙈🙈🙈
No wonder Cintrees are so rare. John has bought them all!
Everytime I see Goldberger he shows insanely unique pieces and not once are they the same from the other videos. He never disappoints.
He's Gentleman with a Gentleman's taste, Period.
Goldberger isn't just a watch collector, he's basically a watch god.
This man is a living legend and a true collector, only god knows how many piece unique or very limited watches he has in his collection! And also let's all remember when during a hodinkee interview he opened a very rare watch with a cheese knife, what a boss!
Classic episode!
he opened a million dollar Rolex
Loved how we wiped the cheese knife on his jacket sleeve before opening the case.
Impressed me as an elegant gentleman. I liked his calm. I sensed Wei appreciated it, too. Seemed like an uncle and nephew discussing a shared passion.

Goldberger is the most badass person on the planet!
Amazing collection ... vintage Cartier watches are the most beautiful!
Thank you Revolution for this amazing video about Goldberger's Cartier watches. It's is rare to be able to find good content about Cartier watches. Please make more if you can.
Amazing to see all of the platinum
His collection is like a timeline of Cintree timepieces. It is like a Cintree museum in a box. Breathtaking collection.
This is maybe the greatest collection I've ever seen as it is focused unique and checks all the boxes
What a privilege to have such a look into some of his Cartier collection. I could watch this every day. A true legend.
lol. and i only thought he had rolex... lol
@@RichBuddy Have you seen his Hodinkee Talking Watches episode too? The dude has everything...
First time I saw Mr Goldberger he open the case back of a 2M vintage Rolex with a knife, which he just whipped on his sports jacket sleeve. After that... He is up there, he is the boss.
Alfredo Ketterer that cheese knife alone is now worth 1M
Did you see the Hodinkee Friday Live where Ben showed that he had knife. He had the cafe mail it to him.
@@McLaughter_ became part of horological history...
@@diminicus9999 Clever guy... that knife have a great value for the history of its company :-)

Impressive collection and quite the gentleman. Thanks for this.
Saving my money for the day these timepieces go to auction.
Wow elegant unique collection !
So true about needing Glasses by the time you can afford the watches
I had a tiny gold vintage watch from my mother...i could read it and it was alot smaller than these
With the man himself! Fabulous!
John Goldberger‘s timepiece is actually closer in size to a Tank Francaise, or even smaller than that. His collection is really breathtaking.
beautiful !!! very elegant my first luxury watch was a Tank cartier i still have it and love it, it s special to wear this especially with a costume, it makes me more quiet elegant and discret
Where the hell did this incredible monster come from.... a thing of lore.
Pick up the dictionary...look for the word *BOSS* , and you'll see this guy's picture 😎
P.s. Wei has come a long way as an interviewer..he now lets the collectors express themselves without interrupting. Props to that 👍🏻👍🏻
Yesss! Yesss!
AMAZING CARTIER COLLECTION. MY ALL TIME FAVORITE BRAND
That first watch is stunningly beautiful
Bliss. I love Cartier. Wonder what Goldberger (or Koh) thinks of the Américaine . . .
Fantastic interview! Thanks
Brilliant idea...extremely extraordinary...wow...history has given us the best
Wei thank you so much for bringing this quality content to us!
My favorite watches along w tank! Hope to have one someday along w my Hamilton!
INCREDIBLE...speechless collections
I swear the way he just stay quiet and look into your eyes 0:32 is like a Don Corleone from Godfather

Auro is THE man!
Finally an episode where he let s the guest talk.
Watch and learn form the size of the watch the man is wearing.....
yup. its not the size of the watch that makes the man. its the size of the man that makes the watch.
Yes
Who could see it? He didn't show much
Why?
Who cares, want a big watch wear one, want a small wear one. Who gives a fuck
This is fantastic!
thanks for making this happen.
Ok, I came. Incredible collection.
Wei Koh- legend in the making !!
Love tank watches so much
Couldnt click play fast enough!
Interesting person. Do a video of those two “famous” watchmakers? Sounds like an interesting story.
Wonderful collection. I am just wondering how one is able to find all of these. Apart from the money, just finding these in the wild is incredible.
Wouldn't want to be the watchmaker that wrecked the two screws at 15:25 . Amazing collection though from a living legend
wich watchmakers are they talking about?
This guy is obcessed with that style of watch
I am speechless :)!
Who are the two independents. I am new to this. Thanks
Goldberger is cool and old-school.. I happen to find him interesting more than the watches.
I love this awesome horologist, a real man!

I came across a cintree with diamond crown, may I know if that is a special order?
The house is more interesting than the watches. Can we have a tour?
Thanks for the information i appreciate it..
Is he talking about Laurent Ferrier and FP Journe?
respect
anyone know who the two independents they're referring to are?
Im wondering the same - considering the time and them being "superstars", I'm assuming Dufour is one?
More interested in his interior design of his flat than his watches
Where does Obsessive Compulsive and Collector diverge or converge?
Or is he a Curator?
I just found out he lives in my hometown 0_0 !!!
Le comble de l’ élégance pour femme ❤❤
"Always with the liquid woman" Haha! Gotta love the Italians
@Sonriot Haha, shows where my mind is. Thanks for the info.
the boss
Anyone know anything about the Dali inspired pocket watch in the intro?
very interesting
What is the name of this city in florence urgently..
Arezzo
No cheese knife?
I am trying to be a better person and not use profanity but just put in any three and that is this collection.
I wasn't bothered by Cartier for me personally as it was my Grandmothers watch, but clearly I was wrong - Art Time
Did anybody noticed almost his entire Cintree collection does not keep good time?
I guess hes a focused collector. 🤣
which are the famous watchmakers that found the catalogue is he talking about?
FP journe. I don't know the other one
Call me crazy but Auro Montanari actually looks like he would be a guy named John Goldberger from Miami.
Is that bunch of asparagus really real?
it's a bit silly to buy so many watches that look so similar... I don't get it...
I don't understand why he uses John Goldberger, his real name sounds so much more like someone who is considered the World's greatest watch collector.
What’s with all the tacky rings
😍😍
are these quartz watches ??
I think I got sold a fake Cartier by Leo Groeneweg(in the US) of the Netherlands without the Cartier inscription in the Roman numerals.
Watching this for the 10th time now, goldberger should have a podcast!
😅😮

Chinese Elon Musk - sounds a bit like him too
Solaroooooo
What is this interviewer wearing oh lord....
Exactly! I love watch videos, any kind but Wei Koh just has a farck face.
Imagine interviewing this specialist about his life's passion and consistently mispronouncing the watch brand.
Those ugly fucking rings grabbing too much real estate on the screen. Actually the least elegant, appealing and appeasing rings I've ever seen.
This man needs a fresh battery!
Intro'ssss nassssty
the greed
First!
those are not watches they are bracelet cause they have cheap movement

I have never been a fan of Cartier, my tastes run more to Rolex sport models.
