Synthesizer

I have owned a couple Synths in the Roland Boutique series and they are great. The main downfall is that the Sliders for Pitch bend and for modulation do tend to fail after a while.
I decided it was high time that I fixed mine. For reference the Roland part number is 5100047706 .
I found that the excellent @Syntaur had one in stock and this is how I got on with fitting it.

That was great : fully explained; to the point; supplier identified; nicely filmed, focusing on the detail where required. I like that sound of that machine too. I subscribed !
Thank you very much
Really useful- I use my Boutique with a Keystep to avoid using the touch strip
I think its real pot luck of these go or not, I never used mine really and it still failed.
@@MatthewNorthMusic Yes, I suppose so. Surprising nonetheless, Roland make good equipment generally.
You can use 30-40 year old Roland kit 99% of the time without any fear of it going wrong. I think maybe they just had a batch of rogue sliders strip's?
@@MatthewNorthMusic Yes, it would appear so
thanks, this was exactly the video I needed
My pitch strip started getting 'erratic'. a couple of years ago From a cold start it's fine for about 20 mins then starts dancing all over the place, so I just disabled it in the settings.
Yep same fault
On my Roland ju 06 the led from vcf res is not lightning on lower position (few milimeters) . Any idea how to repair?
Were the sliders expensive?
Around 20!dollars plus shipping
They're us$36 each atm @@MatthewNorthMusic
