I so needed to see this! 🎉🎉🎉🎉 I hope you have gone to a wonderful home Casper, what a beautiful boy. He looks like a big soft-hearted loving boy ❤ someone's lucky to have u ❤
Good grief! I adopted a Dogo Argentino a month ago from a shelter. He was behaving EXACTLY the same way! That sad immobility, refused treats, wouldn’t make eye contact….wouldnt even stand up when I got him out of the pen, bellied down the ground and refused to take a step. He was found in an abandoned house and brought to the shelter in county Louth (I’m in Ireland) When he finally accepted that he was safe - he does exactly the same thing - leaning in, curling up on my lap - and licking my face. I can’t believe it’s baked into the breed! I’d never even heard of Dogo Argentino - and thought the shelter person was making things up to make him sound snazzy. Murphy and I are inseparable, I love him dearly - and he’s the dog I’ve been waiting for all my life. Keep up your great work!
Wow. We too rescued a Dogo Pup. Poor baby was in foul conditions. Nervous. When we brought her home with our 6 yr old. Omg she was over the moon playful and knew she was in a loving safe home. She is also the most loving, snuggly, affectionate pup ever. She hugs...really. God Bless you & all others who sincerely care. 🐕 ❤
Poor guy. We really don't deserve the love they freely give us. He was waiting for his people to come back, that's just heartbreaking. Those people are shameful cowards. So glad he's been adopted, hope his new family gives him the love he deserves.
This makes my heart happy to see his transformation. It just shows how much positive affirmation and love goes towards changing all of us! He is precious. I am so happy he’s been adopted,
He is beautiful and so tired he is falling asleep standing up ! Sweet precious animals only know loyalty even to those that would just throw him away how heartless he doesn’t even know another family, but I pray some family worthy of his love adopts him is good to him loves him to pieces and keeps him ❤
The pain he's feeling and the loss and hurt are all unbearable to watch. GREAT NEWS! According to the channel, he came out of his sad shell and there're many people applying to adopt this not so little sweetheart. Also, he's not new to the shelter as they initially believed but was adopted out as a puppy and those sane AH returned him and refused any follow up phone calls to discuss as to why they just dumped him, but all is well, I wish I could adopt him, he's soooooo beautiful.
My current doggo absolutely loved my Father. My Father came to live with me after he had received a terminal diagnosis of heart failure, and unfortunately for him due to other health issues, wasn't a candidate for a replacement. He spent a lot of time in a hospital and rehab facilities and then he finally said that he wanted to come home with me. I made that happen. My doggo became his nurse. She would come to him first thing in the morning and check on him. Sitting by his side until he woke up, and she knew she couldn't jump in his lap like she could before, and would simply wait to lick his hand. Any time anyone was helping my Dad, she had to be right there watching. She would come to him several times a day and check on him. She would bring him her favorite toy just to have him throw it for her even just once. When he called for something, she would let out some barks to get peoples' attention, even if we were just in the next room. My father passed away within a year, he fought very hard. After that happened, doggo came to lay down next to his chair, but sniffed all around it and looked around wondering where he was. After a while, she realized he wasn't going to be there, so she laid down next to that chair the whole day and night and she wouldn't eat. She absolutely loved him .
@@lauriemansfield905 this dog have so much loyalty and love to give, I don't know how any animal owner, I won't say lover, can just abandon a family member. While we don't have all the facts and these are difficult times, this could have been done in a more humane and less hurtful way
I adopted a dog yesterday. I get him today. I sat with several dogs as I looked. I sat as I learned from you. Being still until he came to me. Thank you for your love and work with these beautiful creatures.
guess what people who abandoned this dog: we don't want people like you any more. You could have tried. Tried to figure out what he needed. Tried your best. Let's hear what you did.
@@timduggan1461 giving up a dog does not automatically make you a bad person, please don’t imply that. There are plenty of people who have realized they no longer have the means to support an animal, so they give it up and it goes to a better home. Sure it might be sad, but it’s the best thing for the dog.
Nine years ago, I took in a dog that was scared like this. Today, she's a happy, healthy, playful companion. It's amazing to think back to where we started. She's the best dog I ever had.
I don't think I've ever seen a dog look so sad and dejected. It's almost like he's grief-stricken! And so unbelievably tired bless his heart! He just wants some love and cuddles!
He was separated and abandoned by his family. People need to remember that dogs NEED their families, just like humans do. Losing your whole life like that is the only ever going to cause immense pain and trauma.
@@jeanisdancingThe aren't part human, they're mammals with similar higher order thinking as us, along with the domestication of the species. It makes them more like us, but they aren't part human like a hybrid.
Oh really?🫠🙃🫶 That would be so wonderful if Caspar got adopted right away. It broke my heart to see him frozen in shock and sadness about being abandoned just like that! He has so much to give. I wish nothing more than a loving caring forever home for him.
I totally agree. This poor, hurt animal deserves a lasting love where no one will ever hurt his spirit again. All life deserves to be loved and taken care of for life. This makes me want to cry for this abandoned dog. 😢 Please help him find hope again.
Previous owners were obviously despicable, heartless fiends who don't deserve a great dog friend. They don't deserve any friends. To me, that person or group is an enemy. I hope they experience this kind of despair in their own lives. This is cruel and maddening. The more I think about it, the more angry I get. Watching these beautiful people with compassion and big hearts gives me great hope in humanity. Decent people are larger than life. They erase the disgusting people and heal sadness and abuses. This is such a happy story.
Perhaps you should calm some of that hatred for people you have never met. You are completely ignorant of those people, their circumstances or what despair they may have endured in their lives. There could be many reasons but I will just give you one scenario that will perhaps bring back some humanity to your judgemental heart. They said he was adopted a year previous. Perhaps that family had a child that bonded strongly with this beautiful dog. They were inseparable. An unthinkable tragedy took that child away not only from the parents/family but also from the dog. This sensitive dog suffers terrible separation anxiety from losing his companion and the parents can not deal with that and their grief and loss of a child. They have not got the strength or words to explain to the shelter what the family has been through and why they need to return the dog. That is without the possibility of the guilt they may carry. This dog was healthy and obviously looked after, save your hatred for those that abuse, use and neglect animals. All the very best to you and yours ghrohrs.
As a survivor of domestic abuse I totally understand the freeze reaction. Thank you so much for the work that you do. I pray this sweet angel finds a loving home soon.
Casper wasn’t waiting for his family to come back, he was waiting on that lady 🥹 He’s a one human dog. Whoever adopts him will be a very lucky hooman. What a handsome, loyal, good boy. 💙😍
Thought the same thing - he was waiting for the one person who showed him true compassion in the few days he was there, then anyone else ever had his entire life 😢💔
I love animals and I will never agree with abandonment or abuse in any fashion or form, animals have a brain, heart mind and they feel pain, love, hunger, they cry they get sick and they cannot take care of themselves and should be treated like your own children who need you and that they hearts will break to pieces like any heart so I will say any owner of any pet please remember in this thing called life we sow seeds in different ways and in different places by our words, thoughts and deeds and as much as some of us would like to pretend we don't care or it's not our problem and we are moving on,moving on when you hurt others or abuse others, you have left gaps that you haven't filled and they will remain that way until you filled them properly by asking for forgiveness, saying you are really truly sorry and making sure you don't repeat these habits because if you are truly sorry you can move on in the way Almighty God has authorized or commanded.
What a heartbreaking story! I’m glad his previous adopters dropped him off because they are awful and he deserves the best family and all the love in the world.
A hero with a healthy ego is an ordinary person who does something extraordinary while welcoming the help of others. Rocky, both you and Jennifer are absolute heroes. The positive transformations you promote for loving, furry souls in need like Casper are remarkable 👏 Please accept this token of my appreciation for all you do and apply it toward Casper's care and adoption ❣
Thank you that’s very kind. Sometimes these vids make me look good but it’s really the team of volunteers and staff that help transform these amazing dogs
@@rockykanaka Yes, you are so right about it being a team effort. I sincerely apologize for not giving due recognition to all of the volunteers and staff who are critical to success in all the cases you highlight. Let me do that now and express my highest admiration of and love for all of you
What an attractive shelter! Great people working there. Some places are so underfunded. Rocky, you are an angel! Jennifer, you are a compassionate Dog Whisperer! Thank you, everyone.
The thing that makes the tears flow for me is seeing a dog’s resilience. It’s the moment they are willing to forgive the unforgivable and take a risk to trust and love again. They just want to love and be loved. Thank you, Rocky, for bridging that for them. What a beautiful channel. Also, your singing This Little Light of Mine was very sweet! :)
I'm fron Canada, and lost my dog last year. I wasn't feeling like I was ready to adopt another one right away, but I saw this video, and I felt my heart leap into my throat. I actually felt like looking into this to see if I could adopt Casper, so I signed up for the updates and I saw on the page that there are several requests in to adopt Casper. That makes me feel so good. I hope he finds a home with good people who will keep him until the end - he deserves no less.
I stumbled upon your videos last week and over Christmas was telling my mom, I've been watching this channel Sitting with Dogs and she said, Oh I love that channel ❤ It breaks my heart. They are so scared, sad and sweet. And all deserve the love of a person or family that will be theirs forever. You can see how much you care. Those fur babies are lucky you came into their lives. Thank you so much for giving them the chance to find the love they deserve. Best wishes for a Happy New Year to you and all those for babies waiting for their person to find them
I had tears in my eyes for Casper- how a Family could have him for a year & then just dump him like a bag of garbage !!! I hope he finds a loving family !!!
As someone with a weakness for dogs, I appreciate what you do for them. I have 22 dogs in my home right now and a lot of them are abandoned. I live out in the country and people seem to think that dumping a dog in the country is the best way since they won't find their way home. We'll, they've found their way to mine.
I gasped out loud when I heard Alexa say his family said “ we don’t want him anymore. Don’t call us.” My heart sank. How could a family do that? They don’t deserve this beautiful doggie. I pray he gets adopted soon to a wonderful family.
A former friend of mine once told me she bought a chihuahua off a couple who had to give it up. She was away from home a lot. And the dog was used to company so ofcourse it freaked out. She told me that she lied to the former owners that she got pregnant and sent him back. I could not believe my ears. She had two cats that she treated with love and devotion!!
I hope that family gets put on a list of people not allowed to adopt again. Not even helping him settle into the shelter is so callous and heartbreaking. I hope he goes to live with a wonderful family.
Just a note to Rocky, the “non-musician” - I think the singing helped! Caspar’s affect changed slightly and he seemed to relax a bit and even grow curious in response to that shift in the atmosphere. (He doesn’t care how good your voice is or whether you sing the same verse on repeat!) Loads of video evidence shows that animals of all kinds respond to music, and singing (or playing recorded music that’s soft, low, and soothing) might go a long way to ease the anxiety of animals in stressful situations such as sudden abandonment and adapting to the shelter. It might be worth considering using music regularly in the shelter environment. I’m so glad to hear that this sweet, beautiful boy found a home. I hope his new family is worthy of him.
I agree with you 100+ times. I fell in love with him too. As far as Rocky's singing, I would give him a ( Golden Buzzer) he has the voice of an angle with dogs.
I own a Dogo and they are wonderful dog. They are not for everyone. They are high energy, stubborn and need a firm hand. If you work with them they will give you lots and lots of love. They have tons of personality. We rescued ours from a backyard breeder that lost a set of papers and was going to drown the puppies. I had to bottle feed a few weeks. I am so glad we took one. She is such a good girl.
@@rockykanaka Yeah, it's all about YOU, now, Rocky?!?!? LOL. 🤣🙃 Casper is such a sweetie, and it was so nice to see him relax. I pray he gets the PAWFECT home before CHRISTmas!!! MERRY CHRISTmas, EVERYONE!!! Susan, Napoleon Missouri
He seemed to change, soften, and become somewhat receptive when you were singing. I thought that you might have continued on from there toward touching him. 🎶
I’m a retired animal cop and those owners need a talking to because although they did the right thing by bringing him back, Casper is still left traumatized and broken.
You never really know what happened to his family, Divorce, death, illness, job or home loss. When these things happen, the pets go to the shelter. That's why we have pet adoptions . I'm sure the people who left him there were just as sad.
@@monkeysign123 They weren't sad. Did you hear the email they sent? Or watch the video? They didn't even surrender him properly. The best you can say about them was they brought him back to the shelter where they got them.
I love how you always apologise to them for them ending up there and let them know it isn't their fault. Breaks my heart how many animals are in shelters and not a single one of them deserves it.
Rocky, As someone who has had a practice evaluating and working with "aggressive" dogs, as well as having been the consulting behaviourist to several humane shelters, I just wanted to tell you how much I appreciate the content you're putting out. You're showcasing how to work with dogs in a gentle and compassionate way. Thank you for doing this.
Please I need help and I’ve been turned away by so many trainers. I love my dog so much but he can be unpredictable with both people and our cat. It’s draining having a pet who can be aggressive. I’m not giving up on him but I’d love him to be less reactive.
@@playinglifeoneasy9226 why are yrainerd not working with him? Have you had any luck yet? Look online and do it yourself from all the info you find and also look up The Trust Technique. Good luck.
He was adopted a year ago and he's a year and a half old. My suspicion is that the family adopted him as a small puppy and changed their minds when they saw how big he got. I'm glad he'll have a second chance to find a better home.
@@PettyPatty.TM. hes not even full grown... you have to add 10 ...15 more kgs....they are massive ....fulll of energy they need really long walks....not for everyone... hes better without his family they dont desserve a dog like him....
Heart breaking. They don't understand why they have been abandoned by the people they considered their pack and are somewhere they have never seen before. It must be terrifying.
He looks thinner than a pure Dogo Argentino, although that's his natural build rather than emaciation -- he's been fed. Maybe a cross between a Dogo and something built a little lighter... Great Dane, or Dalmatian, or maybe even Greyhound. I'm so glad Jennifer found the combination to his lock! He's obviously such a sweetheart. His old family didn't deserve him. I really hope he finds a family soon that does.
Please adopt him Jennifer❤❤❤. That would be so cool. He's sooooo exhausted poor little man. Im curious to know did he have a sleep after your interactions and seeing Jennifer? I hope so. Do you use or have you heard of the Bach Flower remedies, They are safe for animals. Very good for emotional states. ie trauma, grief etc.
@@kathrynwitte3398 Yeah, but the viszla color shows up in SO many of their mixed breeds that I wouldn't expect him to be pure white if he were part viszla.
December is a difficult month for me, as it is for many. My Shih Tzu had canine dementia and I had my vet euthanize him. This is my first Christmas without him. Today I saw Casper and he put a genuine smile on my face. I would drive down and adopt him myself if I had a yard. Thank you.
I lost my staffi x in November, she was a rescue pup, and she was nearly 12 when we had to put her down from cancer, sending you hugs for your first Christmas without her, as it is mine too, dogs are just the best.
So sorry for your loss. Thank you for sharing your love with your pet. And thank you for sharing your love with whatever pet you decide to share it with in the future. I'm sure your puppy would look down from heaven and be proud.
What a beautiful boy! They didn't deserve him and I'm glad they brought him there, he WILL find a family who knows his worth. He's got such a gentle soul, he's going to be a wonderful addition to his forever home. Fingers crossed it won't take long. You're a good boy Casper!
Casper is absolutely gorgeous. I smiled when you started singing to him. My heart ached for this boy when he just stood still. So glad Jennifer was able to get him to open up. I have never understood why people abandon their dogs. This boy will find his new home full of love.
He probably peed on their precious carpet and he didn't understand what he did wrong. People like that should never have a dog. I have a cat and sometimes he scratches things. That behavior is instinctual and easily remedied with scratching posts. He never scratches the furniture anymore because he likes the posts better.
This broke me.. you can clearly see the pain and sadness in his eyes and on his face.. he doesn't know what he did wrong.. he is a guardian breed dogo and is faithfully waiting for his bonded humans to come collect him.. but they're not.. they betrayed him! SHAME on them.. COWARDS.. 😢❤️
I haven't spent a lot of time with this breed but the small amount of time I have had with them I see why it's easy to fall in love. Such amazing dogs.
Rocky, will RiCanlips4 get him? Please give update on Casper! I have 7 very spoiled dogs. They are given all the love they want, each and every one of them. They sleep on our beds, get ball throws, and treats. Love you Rocky and thank you for giving these angels comfort!
Christmas present last year, dumped this year, poor wee mite. I really, really hope someone who recognises a dog is for life comes to get him. The depression in him was so palpable. [Side note: Rocky, my cat enjoyed your singing. :) ]
I adopted 3 rescues and they were/ are precious. One died last August and we held, kissed, and talked to him in the Vet’s office. He became unresponsive the minute we got him there. My two I have now have helped heal his loss. People who abuse, neglect, and discard their pets are the lowest creatures on Earth IMO. My heart goes out to this dog.
You are so right. My dog was a senior rescue from a puppymill, and she was the one who taught me about Fight, Flight, Freeze. She did what I termed the "fear statue" for three straight days. She would not move, potty, eat, drink water... nothing. Luckily my other dog helped her come out of her shell, and taught her what it meant to be a furry member of a loving family. Watching Casper in this state breaks my heart.
A beautiful furbaby. Breaks my heart to see so much pain in their eyes. I share all the videos because you bring so much awareness to people about how shelter dogs react and it makes me hope people will show them to others and people will go to shelters like you and help adopt more. The ideal world to me is no need for shelters because all furbabies will have a loving home.
Really appreciate that. It 100% is the biggest way the dogs I feature get adopted. So many people tell me someone shared a video with them and that is how they found their way to their new pup.
@@rockykanaka Rocky, I beg to differ! You have a lovely, soothing voice - but more importantly, Casper, or any dog, doesn’t care if you’re not a professional or if you sing the same verse on repeat! He seemed to relax slightly in response to the change in the atmosphere and even grow a little curious. There’s loads of video evidence that animals respond to music, and that the right kind of music can reduce their stress. It might be worth considering incorporating soft, piped music into the shelter environment or having caretakers sing softly to dogs in distress. In my experience it can be quite effective. Thanks for sharing this beautiful boy’s story and for all you do to care and advocate for animals in need.
@@rockykanaka well I'm a singer and I found that you sang really good and fitting for the occasion. 😊 You definitely have more musicality than you think you have!
Every dog touches my heart, but "Casper" broke my heart. "His sadness is palpable" was the comment below. He acted so stoic. He was falling asleep while standing frozen. Anyone with a heart could see he just wanted to be loved and desperately needed a gentle touch. Thank you Jennifer; you are a dog whisperer with a special touch. And Rocky - you are a hero. Anyone can see your heart is full and so reactive to each dog. Thk u for all your good work and kindness.

What you, your wife, and all the volunteers and shelter staff do is such a beautiful thing. Thank you for opening your hearts and lives to helping all these animals and helping us, the viewers, to understand and learn. I hope Casper finds the family he deserves.
Such a gorgeous dog. And his face looks so puppy-like when he is with Jennifer. And you gained his trust too. It's going to be a huge happiness for him and whoever adopts him. I am glad he was safe in the night drop.
I'm sorry that happened to you Cindy. Divorce is hard. I'm divorced too. I hope you know that you matter and you are valuable. Even when it seems hopeless, life does get better. I wish you happiness.
Welcome in the club sister, after my second divorce i have strong issues on trusting people, lesser than less possible partners, I refuse to share a life because I was left in an economically disaster and if i must die for money, will it be by my own hands. I've a sweet partner now but I've difficult to give him my trust. I can't even fall asleep in his arms and he is a very good man, but as you know now, the last one's will pay for the errors of the previous ones
Me as well, my ex has ptsd and turned on me then turned my adult kids against me. I'm blessed that I am a child of God and I am loved by Jesus. My value is in Him and my heavenly home. I will pray for you.
That is how it was for our older Corso Vader. He was abused by his owners boyfriends and he became my husbands best friend. My husband is also very soft spoken, patient, consistent , kind, all of 5’3” but he is the boss lol is a very strong leader he also has kind of long gray hair with a Santa beard lol. Within 3 weeks he had our rescue Corso’s following his commands and not chasing the cat around the house( well the one that was running) we had two. One was too old to run so they didn’t even bother her. When we got our Corso’s they just showed up in our yard but we found their old owners and the boys had been missing from them for over a week. They weren’t looking for them. Their vet said they were monsters. They weren’t monsters they just didn’t have any socialization or love and respect I have 1000’s of pics and videos to show of how well they did coming from being locked up and trying to kill each other to I can take them anywhere and the kids can lay all over the youngest one who is 6. I do not believe that there is any furbaby that can not be rehabilitated in some way shape or form to suit their needs so they can live a good quality of life. Anyway this baby is a yr and a half old he deserves a whole family with no restrictions. He is not old enough to have been damaged beyond repair. 😢❤❤❤
The drooling seems like stress. He’s exhausted. He looks like he’s so let down by humans. I think you two gave him a lot of hope! So glad he could find some to connect with! ❤️
Rocky, my heart goes out to this companion, he presents himself with so much sadness. There is no excuse for the owners' actions in my opinion in this case. I presently have two rescues in my house now and thank God that he gave me the ability to take care of them and the ones that came before them, rescues are the best, so much love. Rocky, I saw that you were trying to put something together to help these companions be adopted across the country, any progress in that endeavor? With that in mind please let us know how he deals with other dogs and cats. If that is a bust, you have my contact information, I will take care of his adoption fees for the lucky new owner.
He is absolutely precious and worth the world. If he would love to be in a home with another big brother we have the room and the love and the means once he is here. I wish y’all weren’t so far away. My Trooper just lost his brother October 13 and he is so depressed and we have been looking for another Corso for him because he needs another companion his size to play with. We are only looking for rescues because I don’t want to buy a pup when there are so many out there that need love. I pray Casper finds a loving home and family soon because that kind of depression is so hard on a dog. I know because I am living with it right now. I am hand feeding my baby to get him to eat and praying everyday someone will call with an available suitable companion near us so he won’t be alone any more. Our kitty even hates that he is so sad and walks by him and licks his nose to let him know she is here for him. I just can’t even imagine how sad they are there in a shelter when I see how sad my guy is and he has a loving home and walks, toys , ponds, land. He misses his brother. We have contacted the Corso rescue near us. I don’t think there should be any restrictions when it comes to cats and kids and things like that when they are so young because you don’t know. They need socialized and they can only be socialized if you give them to someone willing to put in the work to do it. It feels defeating sometimes.
@FedUpAh just to say thanks for your generosity you have a good heart especially when you said that you will pay for the adoption fee God Bless You and Kudos to you Rocky you truly care for these beautiful dogs especially with Casper with the help from Jennifer and I enjoy watching your videos😊🇬🇧
I hope the family that abandoned this beautiful boy see this video and feel ALL OF THE GUILT IN THE WORLD. If I wasn't thousands of miles away, I'd have taken him. Such a handsome and striking boy. My first time commenting on one of your videos. Rocky, you are a truly amazing person and to mend a dog's broken heart is a true gift. You have persuaded me to rescue an older dog rather than go for a puppy when the time comes. These shelter dogs deserve the same amount of love in return for the love they share with us.
compassionate ones realize that older abodoned animals, as well as devoted ones, whose owners have died, need a loving new home. My dear Friend trusted her Vet, to pick a loving home known by him, from among his Clients, that would love her Doggy. Her dog was adopted by Clients he trusted, before she died. Brave, loving, and wise.❤
Rocky, your singing absolutely helped. Go back and watch his response. He has tail movement, and will oscillate and shift as you sing. Singing regulates breathing and heart rate, it also is inviting. We use it a lot in teaching equestrian students who have a great deal of trepidation and anxiety around horses, but want to be better riders. It changes the wave length our frozen brains are in when we have anxiety.
I love when you talk to them and say “I’m sorry man…whatever your story I’m sorry” and then give them praise and love. You are doing such meaningful work. Thank you. I hope this beautiful doggo finds a home worthy of him ❤
Casper is sweet and gorgeous. Thank you for being so kind and loving. It was awesome to see how he “hugged” Jennifer. Let it shine 🎶🎵💕 I pray a caring and responsible family or person comes for him 🙌🏽

I've never seen so much sadness in a dog😢 He is paralyzed with anguish. He is gorgeous. He is exhausted. You are amazing.

He is beautiful and so tired he is falling asleep standing up ! Sweet precious animals only know loyalty even to those that would just throw him away how heartless he doesn’t even know another family, but I pray some family worthy of his love adopts him is good to him loves him to pieces and keeps him ❤
I’m always saddened and disgusted with people who basically throw away their dogs. He is a sweet dog
Me too. People who treat their dogs like clothes to be discarded it makes me cringe. I hope he finds a home worthy of him.
He's so hurt and in shock yet so much love in his heart. What did he go through before such a shoddy discard?
Some people don't deserv the unconditional love of a dog
Why, people throw their kids away as well.
Me too, but in some cases, there can be some really tragic stories behind that action.. So it's always best not to judge.
Really sad, dogs are so lovely.
My heart just breaks for what that sweet boy Casper is going through, he looks like such a sweetheart! 17:42

Yes. Think about this young dog's psychology...these terrible people gave up a being that is still a child, an adolescent.
@@timduggan1461 giving up a dog does not automatically make you a bad person, please don’t imply that. I totally agree. This poor, hurt animal deserves a lasting love where no one will ever hurt his spirit again. All life deserves to be loved and taken care of for life. This makes me want to cry for this abandoned dog. 😢 Please help him find hope again.
Perfect saying.
I AGREE.

I have actually read animal shelters calm animals to the point they stop barking

@@monkeysign123 They weren't sad. Did you hear the email they sent? Or watch the video? They didn't even surrender him properly. The best you can say about them was they brought him back to the shelter where they got them.

Such a sad precious boy. My heart aches for him. Such a good boy. Lord bring his perfect new family 🙏♥️🙏
His tail and drool says MUCH
Yes it does
Boy are you lucky he didn’t bite you when you started singing! Lol. He’s a very good boy. I hope his owners never get another dog. I love him.
😂 I know! I think it softened him up cause he felt bad for me
I am sure there is someone out there who loves Dogo Argentino. Look here is a great one for you!
Thank you
Anyone who doesn't want a dog like this doesn't DESERVE a dog like this!
Everyone needs a friend.
Bless you!
❤ Love is the kind gift from our God,that heals the receiver and the Cover ❤❤
compassionate ones realize that older abodoned animals, as well as devoted ones, whose owners have died, need a loving new home. My dear Friend trusted her Vet, to pick a loving home known by him, from among his Clients, that would love her Doggy. Her dog was adopted by Clients he trusted, before she died. Brave, loving, and wise.❤
Yay Casper got a home. Bigger and better things on the horizon. Go Casper!
I have a rescue dog just like him. All he wanted was hugs. He loves to be hugged.
He’s drooling from anxiousness. Poor thing! Beautiful looking dog and soul.
I would adopt this dog the minute I saw him. I knew he would come around. What a sweetheart. Thank-you so much for helping him.😊❤️
Wonderful that he has been adopted. Thank you to everyone that helped him
Rocky, your singing absolutely helped.
Interesting, thanks for the explanation.
I love when you talk to them and say “I’m sorry man…whatever your story I’m sorry” and then give them praise and love. You are doing such meaningful work. Thank you. I hope this beautiful doggo finds a home worthy of him ❤
@theliterary...My sentiments exactly, it's always such a tender moment.
I'm so glad he was adopted! He looks so tired and sad! And drooling! Poor baby! He will be happy now 😀
Casper is sweet and gorgeous. Thank you for being so kind and loving. It was awesome to see how he “hugged” Jennifer. Let it shine 🎶🎵💕 I pray a caring and responsible family or person comes for him 🙌🏽
Thank you 🙏
Amen. Such a sweet boy.
What a stunning dog Casper is, hope and pray he finds his forever family.
Some people should be locked up for such heartlessness ughh.. so glad to hear this darling found a loving home ..
Yes, "Freeze" is typically forgotten, just as "Fawn" is. Fight, flight, freeze, fawn".
The love and the pets and the belly rubs that boy allowed just brought me tears.
Whoever gets him is going to be so blessed ❤ 🐶
I was crying too… 😢
As a professional vocalist, may I just say, dude! Sing! Just like everything you do, it came right from the heart! Don’t stop singing! That song in particular! We can never know that it didn’t contribute to this beautiful, sweet boy’s turnaround! Bless you for all you do!
He fell asleep when they left him...he's terrified to fall asleep again. So heartbreaking. I feel it too, just watching you on the video...that deep sadness. :(
You’re very very brave sitting with strange dogs, not knowing anything about them. Hats off to you💕
This video was truly heartbreaking...then for us to be able to see such a turn around .. you are so incredibly inspiring. Thank you rocky and your whole team too
What a good boy he is, how can anyone have been so callous with such a lovely dog, poor Casper. He looks heartbroken... not letting himself sleep in case he misses his family coming back, thats just dreadful, what a betrayal. 😞
