Hi, it’s a stealth 475 kayak the only way to get out to palmy reef is through the surf so I wouldn’t recommend a kayak with a electric motor or a kayak that has no internal hatch. You can pick them up second hand or check out Australia kayak specialists in yatala
I think the saltist is a little bit nicer of the rocks it casts just a little bit better than the penn but saying that I use both reels there because one reel has 50lb brade and the other has 30lb so just comes down to what I’m targeting on the the day
Been rippin into the Spanish Jim! Well done
Yeah been getting a few. Haven’t got anything in the last 3 trips out though need some more fish for dinner 😁
Nice Spanish Jimmy!!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Hey Jimmy, I’m looking at getting a new reel ! What would you prefer the penn slammer or the Daiwa Saltist
If you are out on the water in a kayak the penn slammers are definitely the best bang for bucks I give them hell and they are still going strong
@@jimkoek1231 6500 Slammer 30lb braid and leader jim ?
I have a 6500 with 50lb on it but 30 would do the trick to
Thanks Jimmy!! How do you compare them to the Saltist ? And what would you prefer when fishing from the rocks ?
