First fish of the spring. It was a lucky morning for me as I caught some really big baits-kingfish and massive tuna. My best and worst fishing trip ever. Recently Fisheries Queensland introduced " Southern Closure", where they banned catching Spanish Mackerel for specific periods this season. Yeah it was towing me at 9km an hour I’m glad it decided to stay in close and not tow me out wide would have made for a pretty long paddle back in
