Australian Superbike Championship (ASBK) - Rnd 5, Morgan Park, QLD - Superbikes - August 19, 2018

The YMF Australian Superbike Championship presented by Motul Pirelli is now approaching the business end of the season, with Morgan Park Raceway playing host to the fifth round of the championship. Troy Herfoss still holds a comfortable lead over Wayne Maxwell and Troy Bayliss and with the title fight still very much alive, this round could be make or break for some of the key contenders.

to add some context re: the crowds
this track is approx 2.5 hours through the mountains from the nearest big city, this round was mid winter and the temperature in Warwick/at Morgan Park was absolutely freezing with strong winds for much of the weekend
