Bro, I don’t think you have any idea how the rights to likenesses works. It’s not like only one company can have the rights to an actors likeness and it’s also not like then if they just make the likeness look bad they get around it. What is far more likely is just that the likeness cause Zendaya is less than stellar
I highly doubt anyone out there ever actually asked or even wants this Myra Jeanne figure.
I think Sandman is cool, especially if you're a Raimi fan. Had to get him for my collection. If they release him with his clothes though that'll be the definitive version. This one has presence too though.
I’m surprised nobody is buying Matt Murdock! It’s been a while since we had a Netflix/MCU canon Daredevil ML figure and it was a hard figure to find at the time! This one being more available would at least give people a Daredevil even if he’s in civilian clothing
Matt Murdoch does get in a prison in season 3 of daredevil and does and epic back flip kick in the defenders whilst wearing this suit. He doesn’t have his glasses on in those scenes but otherwise the figure works in that context. So if anybody questions the toyetic factor towards the figure, look no further than those scenes. He also does epic parkour in this look in the first season of daredevil.
I have to be honest, I see the Zendaya likeness way more on the Marvel Legends than the Dune figures.

You are misunderstanding and spreading false information about likeness rights. There is no bidding war. All companies have access to them. The sculpts underneath are fine. Sometimes the facial scan just isn’t the best. In the case of the zendaya figure, they reused the old head (new hair) from the 2019 figure. Back then even, it was sized incorrectly. They made the body to fit around it. So her head is a little wide set because of that old release. They did the best they could. It’s her, but not the best we will ever see.
The pinless suit is so nice and it’ll be cool if future figures suits are pinless like a Rhodey or even Jack Russell figure
Oddly enough, I've never seen Sandman in person.
I do hoped that we get a new Gwen Stacy and Mary jane Watson figures this year with an improved articulations 😊

I think you're over thinking the whole likeness/rights issue. Legal issues wouldn't cause that. They're just badly done likenesses 💀
I think they didn’t scan the face in for MJ this round and Matt Murdock is probably the same because they rushed it

Peg warmers? I see MJ all the time but the other 2 I saw once a month a go and none since.

I’ll get these eventually when they go on sale. The Spider-Men and sandman will be the only ones I get at retail. I can’t see myself paying almost 30$ for a civilian.

I have the sandman and repainted him to perfectly match my kinetic sand. I'd like to get the MJ and Ned 2 pack eventually as well as at the moment I got no money for them😅
Sure Hasbro should have included both Electro and Lizard while Lizard should have been the BAF but Sandman was needed, However everyone needed a Charlie Cox Matt Murdock, Overall, Fantastic review David.
