Can my master be 3D printed instead of metal?
Hello, can u help me pls? Can you tell me about someone who makes smth like plate armor or helmets, maybe metal statues or smth with copper? Id like to make smth like this, but i dont know how to start. Probably id use copper plates, cut pieces from plates and connect them with wire?
What is the 'black mark' you are referring to at 11:56? Thanks for the tutorial. It's been very helpful in my miniature motorcycle model manufacturing process. But I didn't catch the marking process, perhaps. If you can explain, that will be very helpful, as I am now learning how to make these molds myself, instead of outsourcing. Thanks!
Marki ng the center of the model with a marker allows you to follow that line while cutting the mold open and this in turn ensures an halfway cut on your mold. You don't need to do it but it acts as a guide for your blade.
@@user-df6lp8zw4g got it. Thank you!
👍👍👍♥️

Can my master be 3D printed instead of metal?
Yes. I'm not affiliated with this channel, but I work in jewelry manufacturing and we use both metal and 3D printed models
