They need to bring Dallas back for another season. The ending was terrible if they want to end a series they should find a way to wrap it up not leave every storyline open.
I agree, it was totally wrong for TNT to cancel the series with so many stories left open. That's why I didn't want the story to just end like that, so I continued it: johnwaldenblog.wordpress.com/2015/11/30/dallas/

Or at least make a 2 hour TV movie and tie up loose ends

This is actually very impressive. It's the sort of thing I might have done with Bonanza.
My wife and I are currently watching the original Dallas Season 8. I watched the show 30-40 years ago, and she never saw it. I never watched the "next generation" series, but I have the DVDs, and we will when we get there.
Once I've finished with that, I have an idea I might just be going to your Website!
One question, what about Charlie Wade? Shalane McCall was such a pretty little girl, and a good actress. Has she ever been mentioned again?

We would understand better if this showed the character names. I assume some are characters who were just babies when they were on the original show, like Lucas and Margaret Krebbs.

Who are Carlin, Michael & Dylan Ewing? Brad Barnes?
I know Lucas is Bobby’s biological son & Ray’s adopted son with Jenna Wade. Where’s Charlotte? Bobby’s legal (name on birth certificate) daughter & Jenna Wade’s daughter?
Gary & Val had twins. Boy Bobby & daughter “What’s her name?” Where are they?
Krystina Carrington Ewing? Dynasty & Dallas were not in the same “universe”?
Michael is Lucas's son, and Bobby and Jenna's grandson; Conner and Dylan are the sons of Bobby's cousin, Jack Ewing; Brad Barnes is the illegitimate son of Cliff, who showed up in Dallas a couple of years before Cliff's death. Like his father, Brad is carrying on the Barnes Ewing feued (He has his own scores to settle with John Ross). And Carlin???
I believe all four serials from the late seventies into the eighties..
DALLAS...Knots Landing...DYNASTY and Falcon Crest are all intertwined with one another now. Just ask John Walden. Jordana Brewster's Character from the 2012 DALLAS Reboot Elena Ramos in now on "Falcon Crest" as the same character albeit married to either a Channing or a Gioberti...my Girlfriend watches all these online old"Primetime Soap Operas ". Once in a while I watch Knots Landing...which was my favourite growing up and yes Valene and Gary Ewing...played by the same actors are still married...nearly thirty years!!! In the "DALLAS" Reboot they were separated but obviously worked things out. Their Twin Children Betsy and Bobby are in the new online series as well. I believe Betsy is married to Laura and Richard Avery's son who is a Doctor.🙂

Not entirely. There are several from the original series in the 70s and 80s still there.....Bobby, Sue Ellen, Ray, Donna, Lucy, Afton, and Jenna. Plus John Ross and Christopher. And from the TNT series, Ann.

Why put people on the credits, that had nothing to do with the show ?
In 2014, after TNT cancelled the show, I continued the story online. Since October, 2014 I've written over 200 episodes. I picked up where TNT left off, with season 4 and now I just started season 11. I didn't want the story to just end the way it did, with so many unanswered questions and so many more stories left to tell about the Ewing and Barnes families.
What's this about is Dallas finally coming back?

Too bad this wasn’t a real trailer bring the show back. Of course, since Christopher died in the last episode of the Dallas reboot, it was dumb to show him as someone who was in it. And we definitely don’t need Priscilla Presley back. Ha ha. Over the past two weeks I got through watching that Dallas reboot again since it first came out, and the show had more twist and turns than the original show. There was some good cliffhangers, and it’s a shame that they didn’t continue with it. There was a couple things about the reboot that I didn’t care for, like Pamela and Emma kissing all over each other and having a threesome with John Ross when she caught them in bed together. Emma, turning into a real floozy, was annoying as heck, but I guess she do anything to get back at her grandmother, mother and father. I would’ve liked to have seen Pamela come out ahead , but then they always make the Ewings win. I was also annoyed with her that she didn’t let her father get out of jail. Despite what he did, he didn’t deserve to have to stay there. And making Sue Ellen a ridiculous drunk again was annoying as heck. She had come way too far for them to drag her through the mud like that. Anyway, I guess that’s one show they’ll never bring back again. What a shame.

But sadly you're right we'll probably never see Dallas back in televised form again, at least not the Dallas we all knew and loved.

Don't we all? I don't think you'd find any Dallas fan who doesn't prefer the first several seasons of the original series over anything that came after. Even the later seasons of the original Dallas don't come close to the first few seasons.
