*NOTE* I forgot to mention: tail-slides locked in better because the wide wheel surface, board-slides feel better too. The only negative to being so locked in is you'll need to un-lock with certain tricks.

interesting i love the natural fall/roll out the conical full shape offers in transition i can just float/slash into a "hang up" locked in bs smith or bs feeble....and simply lean slightly into the lip as my wheel edge just grabs the lip and carves right out of those grinds. Even how they can just slide/slash right into a 5-0 slasher and fall right out of one. I find wheels with that edge profile of a conical full perfect for tricks like this even slides on lip. Wheels with a more curved or would be "forgiving" edge profile tend to powerslide/as im trying to get back into the ramp on lip slides etc. But the harder/steep edge of a conical full grabs the lip with my front truck and just pulls me into the ramp naturally as you plant your front truck/wheels into the ramp. My first ever setup had pig guttercuts...and im sure these have a more ball of foot/toe aspect of board control bc of their asymmetrical design vs how you can often lean on your heels with conical fulls or radial fulls. To me it peaks my interest to how that overall affects rhythm/keeping speed when trying to go wall to wall or chain grinds wall to wall. Aside of the lock in qualities.

We gotta talk about how Zack always has good clothing fits that suit him.

The conical fulls also have a very similar lock in compared to the lock in fulls. However the riding surface and width of the lock in full is greater than the conical fulls. if you like the size of the lock in fulls, radial fulls or classic fulls are a great big wheel to size up to.

Slammed at the park today before work. Wrist guards saves my hand! They’re basically a must have now. I have toe 101 54m lock ins. Idk why but there’s always rocks at my park. They’ve saved my hand a few times now.

Also man- has anyone ever told you that you have killer backside grind style? Noticed that on this vid…not just the back smiths but even the back 5s and back 50s- looks super rad that you seem to stay SUPER bent and low full speed into the grinds..wicked looking. I think I was receptive though because trying to kinda “pre-learn” back smiths on beer can coping (lol lapping over and standing on the back slash)- for ME what really allows me to get up on the grind long enough to look down and see what my feet are doing….it’s kind of a combo of exaggerated knee bend and un-weightedness if that makes sense. Like I said, not gonna claim back smiths just because I lapped over and stayed on the grind longer…I even correct people who try to give me credit…but it’s helping me kinda understand HOW I’m going to mess with them. But seeing how you are pretty crouched on some NICE backside grinds makes me feel like I’m onto something

You can still rotate asymmetrical wheels just swap the top left wheel to the bottom right then top right wheel to bottom left

I've had my eyes on these wheels when they dropped a few weeks back.. love the color.. and i have been adding 2 washers on the inside wheels the last 3_4 years.... protect that hand fella. It seems when i injuries like that _ i have all the intentions of protecting the injury but damn if i dont continue to smack it on something or land on the injured area..

Sounds good but I hope they come out with 56/57mm for speed. On a side note, what brand cargo pants are those and do they have a crotch gusset? Always on the lookout for a well styled/designed pant!

    Really love your work, man.
I believe the wheels that cut in on both sides (mentioned at the beginning of the vid) were Spitfire's "Street Cuts."
Great shape in terms of shaving off unnecessary urethane (something I liked), but without the utility of that flat back.
    Cheers, keep crushing it.

I sometimes call those “square” wheels to differentiate between that and the ones with the HUGE beveled sides and the narrow contact area. I think over the years I’ve bought more sets of the original white 60mm Spit Classics than any other…the newer formula 4 classics are more “beveled” with a narrower riding patch. When I looked EVERYWHERE for the old non-F4 ones they were called “tablet shaped” so that’s what helped me NOT accidentally buy the new 60 classics. These look like what I usually go for: more contact surface (square-ish) with small beveled edges. Lol WITHIN REASON: the SUPER WIDE wheels kinda bum me out lately.

Thanks! PS: Tomorrow is skate day. To commemorate I'm skating in from the parking lot to work. Wouldn't be the first time. 🤣🛹

Good wheels. I just don’t really like how you can’t really flip them to reduce wear. After a while they start to cone and if you flip them they are backwards

Nothing new about the nano-cubics besides the urethane.
The shape is just a miniaturized RatBone.
