Please go more into detail for skin analysis, please do different scenarios on how you do a targeted treatment based in what you analyzed .... can you also go into detail about skin diseases .... I love how you explain thoroughly 💕

I would absolutely love a video about what medications and topical creams to look out for and why. Also, what meds/creams would be a contraindication to perform a peel on the client. Many videos I have seen only say to look at the medications but don’t go into detail and this is something my instructor didn’t go into as well 😞
    You are amazing!

I’m so glad that I stumbled across your channel!! I love how detailed and clear you were. It’s intimidating when a client lays on your table and you have no idea what to look for. Thank you so much for making videos like these and helping out the esthetics community ❤️‼️

Thank you SO MUCH! I really LOVE helping other Aestheticians grow. I believe that we all should be lifting each other up in our community. Coming out of Aesthetics School can be intimidating. I also do 1-on-1 Business Coaching if that helps as well. Helping other Esty's grow is very rewarding to me. I am so glad you love the channel! Thank you so much for watching!

So glad I came across this video, look forward to learning more from you. Was curious what told you, from looking at her skin, that it was combo and not oily. It looked like her chin had larger pores also, cheeks are breaking out....? Just curious. I'm in school and can tell how critical this analysis is, yet we won't learn enough.

Hi! Combination Skin is a pretty common skin type. It combines some oilier skin and some large pores in the T-ZONE. Drier Skin from the Mid-Cheek out to the ears, sometimes even the forehead. It's best to treat a client with these factors as a combination skin client. This is because with Oily skin, your treatment will change to a treatment that will break up oil and exfoliate at the same time. It could be WAY to drying for a COMBINATION skin client. It could potentially throw off the PH of the skin, causing even more skin issues that would need to be addressed. In my skin ANALYSIS to be defined as an oily skin client, the pores would have to be large, not only in the T-ZONE, with large pores on the forehead, chin and nose, as well as large pores that go out passed the eye area. The pores would be VERY noticable on the cheeks. I hope this answers your question! Thank you for watching!

Can you explain how do you know if it’s THIN SKIN, MEDIUM THICKNESS, VERY THICK SKIN?
In other words, how are we checking this?
    Thank you
    Ps I loveeee your videos!

Thank you SO MUCH! Aging, Sun Exposure and genetics all determine skin thickness. However, I like to pinch a small amount of skin at the jawline area. Based on the feel, I can determine if the skin is thin, medium, or thick. That helps me to determine things like peel layers and micro needling depths. I hope this helps!

@@candwskincourses hi, when you say to pinch a small amount of skin what exactly are you looking for to determine the skin thickness when you pinch? How would you know? Thanks 😊
