Hi! aww sorry you overcooked it, yes try again next time, hope it will turn good and one tip is to cook it low and slow. aAlso i marinate my pernil 2 days, not only the meat turns so tasty it also cuts the cooking time because the marinate helps tenderize the meat.
Nakakatakam naman to Michelle naku diet pa naman ako, bigla ako nagutom haha 😂 it’s been awhile since nacheck ko channel mo I’m so busy . Happy Holiday sa inyo 😘
20-25 min per pound 350° Child get you some garlic crush it , oregano, onion powder, paprika, kosher salt, pepper,Sazon,Goya mix together add a little oil make a paste .wash ur butt in some lemon juice ,vinegar .lay in a big roaster cut your flap of skin back but leave attached. Cut slits in your butt and get to rubbing your meat and pushing ur mixture into slits .wrap in saran wrap marinade in fridge from two hrs to all night .set ur meat into a nice large pan ,wrap that baby up tight with foil bake it till your bone is loose and can come out of your meat with ease .turn up your oven to 400° bake it till skin is crispy...Child Iam no true Pernil person but you can do it ..Good luck !!!
I’m not sure I understand the purpose of placing the water in the pan before the pernil begins to release its drippings, it would seem you’re basically steaming the pernil no?
