The "old style Ansel Adams photos" were by Stephan Willard - at the time (1936) a Palm Springs photographer. "In 1936, Willard’s photos were again used to support the proposal and decision to create the Joshua Tree National Monument."
Interesting that there are supposed to be 4 comments on this video as of January 2023 but only 3 are shown. Makes me wonder what that 4th comment may have been. Freedom of speech seems to be hidden and squelched at times
That's quite a statement considering, as you admit, you don't know what the comment said. It might even have been deleted by the person who posted it. For all we know you wrote that fourth comment, then deleted it yourself.
