I've always been fascinated by the iconic dragon trees of Socotra (Dracaena cinnabari), it's so fascinating to think of how our deserts have the iconic Joshua Trees which are also in the Asparagaceae family.
Wow, i looked up your huge Dracaena...unbelievable. In California, we just have some miniature varieties in our homes. I need to visit these Canary Islands and Morocco some day. I love these strange plants.

Thanks. This is the best and most knowledgeable Joshua Tree video out there on UA-cam. Great Job! I learned a lot.
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks for sharing these interesting observations!
This is a wonderful addition to our Pacific Southwest Deserts....
Very informative . Thank You So Much.
I love driving through the desert seeing miles of these guys on the way to Vegas.
They fertilize these on beaches to keep it from jerking the grass out from under thier feet.
