Yes, you got that right, it was indeed a love fest! Angelina kept repeating - she just wants people to be kind to each other and share love - that was how it was - her interaction with the audience was so sincere and warm - the love flowed both ways - we in the audience loved her performances, she loved having a receptive audience... The venue was sold out, people travelled from so many countries to experience her live. Angelina had happy tears between some of the songs. It was the last of her summer concerts, it was like she didn't want to leave the stage - the audience was hungry for more. The buzz from the concert lingers on, I spoke to the musicians as they were loading their car, they were totally in awe of Angelina, I just hope that Angelina returns next year and that the same musicians will be with her...
Fantastic concert, fantastic audience, fantastic band and a legendary performance by Angelina. Normally when you go to a concert you enjoy some of the song while you just listen to the rest, but in this concert it was 18 songs of complete enjoyment, I do not think there was a second when I thought this was not absolutely fantastic and that it could be performed any better by any other artist.
Angelina is not a singer, she is a singing Artist, she does musical paintings. She is very unique and extraordinary with this ability and beyond nearly all singers that I know.
She took my breath away on July 10 and she still does !!!

I can't pick my favorite because each and every performance is a testimony to the fact that Angelina Jordan is not of this world, she is like nothing that has ever existed in the past or is likely to in the future. We are so lucky to be in this time and place in the midst of this phenomenal STORYTELLER, and she is only 16. She is a song writers dream come true, both for those written in the past and those to be written in the future.

As for expressing te soul of the song only AJ does that . Lara Fabian is still a performer doing her part, don't see total natural , authentic deep soul, rather more acting .Miss Jordan is definitely on another level , besides Billie , Ella , Nina , Janis , Etta...
It's difficult to compare them. They are very different. In my opinion Angelina is way more artistic.

IMHO, Angelina sings with total abandon, she's fearless and however her heart and mind join together, her voice is ALWAYS at the ready.. it's so at her command, she can change up, add shimmer, which ever of her array of vocal ornaments she selects to add. The combined results are just captivating, exquisite performances... Because she isn't a "cookie cutter singer" as the top tier artist that she is, she never sings a song the same way.. she morphs it into something special yet again... Her talent is just off the hook, she is too unique to try categorizing what she produces... It's impossible not to be carried away to her world when she sings... And the journey continues... Hello my friend. I have a special question tonight, maybe you as a longtime fan with many contacts among the Angels will have an idea: How would you try to get through to Angelina or rather Michael? Do you know someone who has a reliable contact to him? - I want to forward an invitation for a collab / live broadcast... - Short background: Maybe you know Katrina Velarde, great Pinoy singer? Recently she did an amazing duet with Kristina Madrigal, another great, but not as famous singer from the Philippines, and they had a very smooth saxophone on the track. That was played by a guy named Paul Chatman, a great (jazz) sax player and music producer who had worked with, among others, Earth, Wind & Fire... It happened that I got in contact with and befriended both Kristina and Paul, I spent the last couple of days chatting with them about music and artists, and of course I had to introduce them to Angelina, and both love her (how not)... Now today I had sent Paul three more Angelina videos, among them "My Funny Valentine", and I added I would love to hear him play sax over the track, and he answered me as follows:
"I have a big party coming up on Nov 27th maybe she could do a live broadcast?
I have musicians from Guam, USA, negroes and Manila performing live and broadcasting for the party. It will be streamed live on UA-cam, FB and IG." - Maybe Angelina would be interested in taking part in such an event (it's a release party for an EP with Paul's originals), jam with some great musicians, making contacts, gaining experience? Of course I don't know if her contract with RR would allow for such a participation, anyway I told Paul I'd try to forward his invitation... - What would you do? As you might be curious about Paul I'll add two links at the end, the first is the cover of "When You Believe" with Paul's sax (you won't see him, just the ladies in the studio... - btw. I had asked Kris if she had listened to Angelina's cover, but she did not know her at all and said she generally doesn't listen to covers of songs she wants to sing because she wants to find her own expression...)
The second is a live performance of Paul and his band GABRIA playing an instrumental original...
Even if you have no idea how to get through to Angelina in order to enable direct contact between her (management) and Paul I'd appreciate if you gave a listen two both tracks and let me know what you think...

I understand your interest to make a collab happening, as it would most probably sound GREAT. I'm not really sure if I care too much for Kristina's vocals in the other one though, but that is just a matter of preference. As for how to get in contact with Angelina's management, I have absolutely no idea🤔
And the same goes for Angelina's contract with RR. I have a hunch that they might not agree at this time, as her album release is approaching (although I have no date). Another thing is how it would play into her management's wish of not promoting her at all. Just my immediate thoughts, Dominik. It would have been nice to have a way of communicating with them directly, right ? Maybe the proper way would be to contact Republic Records directly. Angelina wears her heart on her sleeve. What you see is what you get. She just wouldn't know how to fake it. And aside from her remarkable talent, that's one thing that makes her so easy to love. She is humble, kind, unpretentious, and a true ambassabor of Love. Several who attended one of her concerts referred to the experience as "magical". Some who were verteran concert goers said it was the best concert experience they had ever had. If appears that Angelina will not graduate from high school until next May/June. So, we may not see her album released until next summer. I'm just speculating here. That would free her to travel and promote the album. Your love for Angelina is special among reactors. 😊😊

Thank you Valerie for that heartfelt, beautiful reaction to Angelina. I have said for years that she never sings a song the same way twice. It totally depends on how she is feeling it in the moment. A few years back she sang her original song Shield in a concert in Norway. At the end of the concert the audience wanted an encore so she sang it again, differently. Someone once commented that she could record an entire album of her singing a single song like Fly Me to the Moon in different styles. The only down side of that is when she has to lip synch for a music video, she has to remember how she sang it for the recording. I read that Ella Fitzgerald had a similar problem, because she did the same thing. I think most singers tend to sing a song pretty much the same way each time, so lip synching isn't a problem.
I heard / (Read?) an interview with a producer of the Blues Brothers movie telling how recording the "THINK" segment was so difficult because Aretha Franklin sang it differently every time, making any lip-sync impossible!
Wonderful reaction again - I recall seeing Angelina when quite little saying how she "gets energy" from an audience... I guess great performers are like that
Really enjoyed your reaction, could see the emotion Angelina inspired in you. It's that way with me, every song. Just close my eyes and let it roll over me. I can count on one hand the number of singers that have done that to me, she's at the top.

Great analysis and commentary Valerie. One of the things I love about Angelina is, she never sings a song exactly the same twice. Jazz musicians instinctively improvise. Valerie, I wish you lots of fun when you get back on stage. I wish I could know the feeling musicians get but my talents lie elsewhere.

Wonderful reaction, Valerie! You touched on so many of the things that make Angelina so adored as a singer and artist. This concert was just fabulous, wish I’d been there, but the many recordings that have come out from Norway to share with her fans, just make my day, - every day! As a side note, there was a major international gathering in the audience, the different countries represented amazed Sara, her mother; but nobody regretted the time and money, the love flowing both ways is palpable!

I went back to her AGT the Champions version. I don't know which version I liked best. Perhaps overall this one.
The AGT version is professionally recorded, while this version is fans made record with a phone or handheld camera, not a professional recording.
This shows how good Angelina is.

ANGELina sings most emotionally and easily convinces with sincerity. She radiates inner and outer beauty and love. All of this is now what humanity needs to survive.
I hope that she will not allow herself to be politically abused by the elite, who do exactly the opposite of what they say. Her and our future lies in liberation from the tyranny in which we live.
