This is so important! I had a similar situation. It took constant doctors appointments and test from 2017 to 2019 to find out I had IBS. My doctor didn’t even say it to me, just put it on my paperwork and mentioned supplements that “might” help. He never mentioned diet or asked about my mental state at the time. I struggled on my own until I learned how instrumental food is to managing my symptoms. BUT THEN I learned about the mind-gut connection and everything changed. I am currently in grad school for my MPH with an interest in adverse childhood experiences. I want to focus on how stress and trauma impact our overall health and lead to not only self destructive behaviors, but chronic diseases.

She rights, what she describe is exactly what I’m going through myself. I remember it was an overnight change that my body and mind felt, I started to get severe anxiety and depression, panic attacks and for the longest I would say 5 yrs I’ve been taking my medication and going to therapy which saved my life, and yet I still wasn’t feeling better internally. So like she did I researched gut and brain health and it’s all linked to mental and physical health. The vitamins deficiency she talking about is D, b12, iron, so it’s important to talk to ur doctor and keep insisting. Hope this helps.

Everyone needs to see us! This is so true. I went through it with my Autistic son. Gastroenterologist didn’t help. Finally I went to an out of network Naturopathic Doctor. She ran a battery of tests. Found out my son had a recurring yeast overgrowth in his gut that was eating up all of his nutrients so he was vitamin deficient. Now that we cleared up his gut, he’s talking more, he’s happier, fewer behaviors. Go see a Naturopathic/ Functional Medicine Doctor!!! Then start supplementing with HIGH QUALITY vitamins. It was worth every penny

I love the products from her Love Well Company… it’s amazing how long it actually takes for a Physician that you have known and trusted ,, really isn’t listening and think “Xanax is the answer 😮😅… like really🙄… and then one fine day… CBC etc and guest what a Vitamin D deficiency amongst other things that all could be taken care of with daily supplements… To live your Normal life…. Can you hear me from the back row….👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👀🤣🤣. Thank you Lo Bosworth, unfortunate circumstances have come to the rescue for so many Women. Tamron another fabulous guest.👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾💕💖🌷

I suffer from overlapping autoimmune medical conditions. I am 50 years old and from medical gaslighting i was exposed to almost all of my life. It took my own researching and bringing info to drs to be tested and diagnosed!!!! They went to medical school not me! I currently need IV INFUSIONS WITH HUMAN BLOOD PRODUCTS EVERY 2 week for four hours two days in a row. There is no cure for me but I can function a bit better now with immunotherapy. I advocated for myself and that saved my life. Now I have a team of drs treating me. I would have died if I listened to the drs!!!!

Do your own research, stop counting on doctors to get you through. Do like this woman is saying she is own the road to success in seeking her information out.
