Hi Lisa, so nice to spend another Friday with you. Your Daughter's dress is going to be a masterpiece! Love tha new fabric! I saw it on the thumbnail and had to hop over and watch this episode! I am excited to see your finished swimwear. Proverbs is a favorite over here as well! Happy Sewing 😊
Hello again Katinka, thanks for stopping by. I’m hoping to get my swimsuit made in time for my trip. My life is about to get hectic as we are moving out of state next month.
That dress for your Daughter is going to be gorgeous! Cute dress you are wearing too! I love your old Singer. I am a horse lover and previously a horse owner so I got a kick out of that pillow. Thanks for the great video!!
Hi Lisa...I love the dress you are making for your daughter, and also the one you made for yourself for church. I love the T shirt pillows too. You cannot have too many pillows in my opinion. Oh my, we are from the Scottish heritage too! Finnish, Scottish and English. I am getting so many inspiring ideas from your channel. Thank you so much....have a wonderful day my friend! Love and hugs, Jeanie xxoo
Lisa, your dress turned out very nice, I was wondering if a small piece of clear elastic, not stretched too much would help. Your daughters dress looks fabulous! What a great idea for a pressing ham :) Have a blessed weekend. xxx
Your dress turned out lovely, Lisa. I loved the fabric for your daughters dress. TFS about the thread...heading to Joanns today. How do you sew knits on your machine? Pretty fabric...look forward to seeing what you make!
Hi Jeane, I was having trouble sewing knits on my old 1948 Singer. I tried using a stretch needle and that didn’t work. I switched to a ball-point needle and the Eloflex thread at the same time, and it sews like a dream! Thank you, and thanks for stopping by! 🧵
@Lisa Ann Spencer I couldn't find Eloflex at Joann's, but will keep looking. Do you do a straight with that thread? I have a Singer 1980s machine and hope it will work with the narrow zig zag most mention if you don't have a serger. 🙂
I’m in love with the thistle fabric
PS Oh how I love Proverbs!!
Love your dress and the one you’re making for storm.
Thank you! Love you! I’ve been really enjoying myself sewing for my girls!
Love the dresses! Yes. Ham is great!❤ I love the blue floral😍
Thank you! I thought it was irresistible!

Hi Trish, thank you and thanks for watching. My girl has several cute horse shirts that she grows out of too quickly.
I DO love me some horses:)

Hi Jeanie, thanks for visiting. Love and Hugs to you, dear friend. 💕

Hey Sherry, thanks! The clear elastic sounds like a good idea. I’m going to remake the top again in a stretch chiffon or something equally light.

Lisa, would it be okay if I send you a pressing ham. I would love to gift you one. I have several that I have made.
Pam! That would be so kind! My email is in the description box at the bottom.
@@LisaAnnSpencer Pam is the sweetest 😍
@@sew_april indeed she is!
The reason your New Look top was too big is because it’s meant for woven fabrics.
Thanks Gloria, you are absolutely right. I’m going to have to remake it in a woven.
