Pleaase do more SAIPA accountants, im studying a CA(SA) qualification and the SAICA competencies sound too daunting, and most accounting youtubers are SAICA endorsers i haven't found a single SAIPA youtuber out there, cant wait for this video.
I'm in a same boat and im considering SAIPA now, especially since I'm.more interested in Financial reporting roles and Tax. U can be a Financial Manager with your SAIPA Articles and experience as long as u will still do your CTA.
But we would still appreciate it if you bring a CA (SA) and interview them. You are the only channel that reveals the "numbers" behind the scenes, the other channels just tell us "Market Related" mawbuza nge salary.
This was very informative, I wish more accounting students can watch this. Thanks Yolisa for coming to the village, I wish you all the best in your SAIPA journey.
She gave up a little too quick on her dream. She did her Advanced diploma in Accounting Sciences, she meaning she can do her CTA 1 and 2. After that she auditing recruiters will hunt her down to give her a training contract. Then she writes her exams and boom! She's a CA. But I understand that she needed a job now.
I am currently doing diploma in taxation at DUT and I want to become a chartered accountant... can you please help me advise me what must I do after finishing my diploma
Boni I think the people who come and give advise should also be comfortable giving their salary ranges at least, even if they can't give the exact amount because that's part of the crucial information needed to make a decision
The payslips series serves that purpose. They can share freely. People are not allowed to discuss their salaries in public. Expecting them to talk about their salaries will be asking for too much. This segment serves a different purpose.
Her statement with regards to limitation of functions is incorrect. Unless if you want to become an auditor of which ACCA is now able to perform audits.
@@liferesetwithboni Theres no difference. SAIPA is registered with IFAC and the SAIPA Accountant can perform all functions excluding auditing because they are not registered with IRBA in South Africa. It would be interesting to know which functions she thinks she has limitations on unless her employer has stipulated those restrictions making it a work place restriction rather than a SAIPA title restriction.
@@liferesetwithboni In addition, it would be really nice if someone did a video about the profession and the available accounting bodies. Particularly the misconceptions about the accounting bodies in SA and the limitations/ or lack of pertaining their functions. for Example, the SAICA CA(SA) Accountant and the ACCA Charted Accountant are both qualified to provide the same functions with no statutory limitations etc..
@@samaritan2899 they can sign off compilations and independent reviews with a public interest score of less than 100. It's good if you really want to be an accountant and tax practioner. Saipa project achiever program that prepares you for the exam is good. It teaches you everything you need to know. They also have another independent reviewers program. The problem with saipa it's limited. Saica has created an agasa which is basically the same as a professional accountant. A chartered accountant is mostly an auditor. They work on bigger companies and listed companies. They are accountants auditors and tax practioners. They work more in audit where the accounting and tax work is already prepared by the company and given to another accounting firm to compile once that is done it's given to the auditor. Thier job is difficult. They get paid more and they look down on professional accountants. Some of them don't really know how to compile an accounting file which is required if you need to be a financial manager at a normal company but because a ca needs to know accounting and tax they get first preference even though they don't work in accounting and tax. Generally in a firm it's the professional accountant that works in accounting and tax. They only work in audit. Unless it's a small accounting firm and they require them to work with accounting and tax work because they have a limited amount of work. I would say if you really want to work in accounting please do an accredited saica degree at an accredited saica University. Study the certificate in the theory of accounting. you can find this on the saica website they have a list. Do the saica articles and attempt the itc apt assessment and apc. Otherwise do the acca chartered certified accountant. The cas equivalent as acca can also audit now. Signing off audits now is different you have to do an 18 month contract with an auditing firm before you register with the auding body irba. So once you qualify as an acca or ca you can do that otherwise you won't be able to sign off audits.
Good day Sis Bonni can you ask Miss Yoliswa I'm doing my N6 in Financial Management at NCU TVET how does one move about to further my studies, and which financial fields should one look out for cause I too have fallen in love with Accounting here at college
Hi sis, I would advise you to continue with your studies at TVET till you get your diploma and you can further your studies at UNISA through an advanced diploma.
Hi, here is a response to yountoo! Thanks for stopping by! Yes, you are correct. I share information as it is, and I'll add some important factors if we agree with the contributor on how far or how much I can share about them. If you are new to my content or not familiar with my style, I understand, but here are a few points: 1. I'm not a career coach 2. I'm not a career guidance page 3. I'm not a recruiter or charge people anything for the content. 4. If you need indepth analysis on salaries, etc, please consult a career coach, or a professor or something along those lines. 5. What you saw on that Tik Tok is my style of presentation, if you don't like it. Move right long cos I will jot change it. It's how I deliver content, and my audience likes it like that. The people who contribute have no problem with how I share their payslips, and that's why they share. 5. I see your friend has deleted their comment. They thought I'll shake and bow down. The problem is you come to my channels not knowing why and how I got here and think you can dictate how I present the content.

Do CIMA next, and their salaries please🙏🙏
