I love how even though he's a trained and very talented dancer, his quality of movement is always matched to the character. Some actors move with this unnaturalistic speed and agility where even in non-musical scenes, you can tell they're a trained dancer which really takes me out of the story and character they're trying to portray. Christian Borle can move and dance awkwardly or lazily as with Emmett or Shakespeare or move with great technique when he's playing a professional performer in something like Some Like it Hot. His control over his physicality is a big part of why I find him to be one of the most believable and engaging musical theater actors working today
Christian Borle is the most gay straight man I’ve ever seen
Let me introduce you to John Mulaney
Tim Curry
And perfect for it. Gotta love the lack of toxic masculinity in him. 🥰
Christian in Something Rotten emits an almost Jeff Blim-ish energy
YESSSS
@@yuh-kh2qz Oms you like Falsettos and Starkid!
@@fixyrheart yes!
Omg yesssss!
omg this!!!
this man looks like he’s achieved some higher level of joy and i want in on it... what is his secret
Can bald Christian dance though? Does the power come from his hair???
I mean, Wonka Christian is bald Christian so I think the talent comes from his general amazingness
@@ampersandcastle1091 maybe it’s the wig 🤫
I fully believe the little dance at 6:14 was just him messing around while learning choreo and the director decided to keep it
I think about the choreo in The Year of the Child way too often
me too
Same 😭
Whoever disliked this, who hurt you? And what does our kind Christian have to do with your pain?
Can't handle the facts that he is a talented dancer
They’re jealous
