Pucci, like Valentine on the surface has many redeeming qualities to them, leading to many believe that they are the real good guys of the story. But just like how Valentine's plan to better America damning rest of the world to chaos was evil, so was Pucci's plan too. Achieving heaven in one's lifetime is the ultimate form of blasphemy, and not doable for anyone except for those who rejected him. This was exactly what Dio did century ago, placing the stone mask on his head, and throwing away the divine gift of humanity. Just like with vampire's thirst for blood being eternal, Dio's ego grew more and more hungry. What could he possibly do more to please It? He already rejected god, killed his father and adoptive family, attained immortality but he still needed more. *Heaven* When Dio was little, his mother told him stories of the Heaven. Where all people went if they did good deeds. Living a rough life, Dio could not believe these stories for one second, how could anyone deserve such a paradise? He had known nothing more than thieves and sinners, except for his dear mother, who too died shortly after when he were still young. Dio also realized that his father's soul was also in heaven, for the good deed of sending him to the Joestar estate earned him a spot by God's right side. So rejecting God was not enough, he shall invade his kingdom like he did with the Joestars, he shall SMITE the father all-mighty, and kill his earthly father's soul once again. Then he would be able to rewrite history, and finally once and for all create the kingdom his ego so yearned for, crowning him the God Emperor of all reality. Pucci is a misguided soul, who got into really bad situations. The morality of his choices are hard to weight, as the choices he did and would not do are all dependent on the reader, and have many dimensions and viewpoints to them. Sure, he did want to protect his sister at the cost of his brother, but If he hadn't interviewed, the truth would have came out the hard way. All he did was what he thought to be good, and he did those in the name of his God, or rather, the one who he loved like him. Pucci is a testament to Dio's evil and manipulation. He was a friend to the vulnerable young priest when he needed someone the most, and poisoned his mind with his evil ideas, to continue his legacy as his follower. Do what he could not. The "heaven" that Made In Heaven creates is not that at all. People knowing their destiny Is not a good idea at all, Its not a way to live one's life, knowing their every move as a fact. It leads to people dreading everything bad happening, not being able to do anything to prevent it. They'll live in this torturous dread their whole lives, until death releases them apart from the horrible inferno that is Pucci's paradise. In JoJo, fate is very well a real thing and its sealed for everyone from the day they were born, but theres a big difference between knowing it, and not. Pucci is one of the best villains and characters in general in jojo. It's a pity to realize that most people perceive him as another Dio fanatic who blindly follow all his instructions. He has his OWN motivation for his actions. His acquaintance with Dio only became a "lever" for these actions. And I don't think Pucci is absolutely evil. He wanted the best for humanity, so that they would not experience what he had experienced in the past. He could have killed the Weather, but instead he just took his memories to protect himself and the rest of the people. And I'm sure if Jolyne hadn't interfered with his plans, he wouldn't have killed her. And at the end, when Emporio uses Weather Report to kill Pucci, Pucci asks Emporio not to kill him right now, but a little later so that he can complete the reset of the universe. Unlike other villains, he did not strive for world domination or anything else, he only did what he thought was right. And yes I hate people that really think he is gay. Pucci is a great villain to end the series with. A villain who opposes the hero not will evil but with an opposing ideology on life. Pucci is embodies one of my favourite villain archetypes, that being the "necessary" evil or more like oblivious to his own evilness. Pucci opposes the protagonists ideology through their understanding of fate. Pucci believes that all life is beneath fate and therefore should follow fate blindly however to prevent sorrow that comes from tribulations and tragedy, he wants all life to observe their future and prepare for the inevitable. Emporio represents the view that following the path of justice is true fate as many times throughout the series, fate has always favoured justice and that to truly accept fate isn't to be prepared for it but have the resolve to go past it. DIO's heaven can be likened to the wide path and the thin path. The wide path leads to destruction, this destruction being the inevitable meaningless of life which he thought he could prevent. The thin path representing that only those who walk the path or justice or at the very least don't go down the path of evil will prosper through trial and tribulation. This is seen in how fate rewards the part 6 cast with happy lives after the ultimate evil is destroyed. This is probably why Pucci was able to get as far as he did however Fate only turned their back on him once they found someone who was truly just. Pucci wants to control fate which results in fate firing back. This can be applied to Diavolo who was allowed to tamper with fate until it decided that Giorno was worthy. Pucci's inability to accept his own fate whilst forcing everyone else to accept theirs is what got him killed. Emporio made Pucci change fate by injecting Weather Report's disc into him which is why Fate turned their back on him and favoured Emporio which allowed him to win as that has never happened in the previous timeline. Pucci's evilness is symbolised through his ironic nature. He's a priest which is seen as righteous however deep down is a cruel and immoral demon. He's the kind of evil that doesn't realise it's evil. Pucci believes that he's doing everything for the greater good but in reality, he's committed heinous crimes in his fanaticism for DIO. He manipulates, murders and commits sinful acts to get ahead for his righteous cause. He is true evil, blinded by his fanaticism and idealism

@@nameless_monster_ Pucci is a villain because of the road he took to achieve this ‘heaven plan’. You can argue there was righteousness in his goals, but in order to achieve it, he carelessly manipulated and murdered anyone in his way. He caused a massacre at Cape Canaveral and showed no remorse for it. He injured and killed people with the time acceleration, weeding lives out of the cycle. He killed his own brother without a second thought, etc. These are acts of great evil.
You know what really ruined Pucci's plans? Having Jolyne put in prison. Pucci already had what he needed to prepare the reset of the universe except for the knowledge of Dio's diary, which he needed to steal from Jotaro, which he could've planned for given how easy it was in the first place. By putting Jolyne in prison, she eventually gained a stand and from there the dominoes would just fall against him as kept trying to Kill off the remaining Joestar bloodline. And even then, Pucci shouldn't have needed to steal Jotaro's memories. Dio should've passed his diary to Pucci long ago and the plan would've gone off without a hitch. Nobody would've investigated Pucci, because nobody knew Pucci even existed or was affiliated with Dio. If anything, the plan was ruined because Dio was completely careless and he Pucci made too many assumptions in the execution.

hope it isn't weird, but i like him because he's the only one that Dio actually likes and respects. maybe Dio manipulated him, but it is a matter of fact that he never hurt him in any way during the flashbacks. i also like that his goal doesn't seem selfish unlike...pretty much all other Jojo main antagonists. he seems cool.
Usually people who sees pucci as a Fanatic have low reading comprehensive skills
He will come soon boys
This man has potential, keep up the good work. :)
I really like the video! I think you changed my opinion on Pucci a bit.
One dislike from Emporio.
No emporio wouldn't hurt my stand user's feelings
the other is jolyne
Love by me
Pucci is my favorite villain AND character
Video: Pucci is a misunderstood Villain.
Me: How, Sway?!
Edit: Okay. You’ve convinced me. I reread it and actually started liking him a lot more than most Shonen Villains. Especially Obito.
Its really an amazing video the editing is really well done, ur channel is really really underrated
I feel partly included
That's an awesome analysis, great video.
Should pucci be classified as a villain? His goal is to show everyone their fate. The people in the first universe are transported to the second with zero changes nobody gets hurt and people can come to terms with their fate
True, but life is only worth living because you don't know the future, you don't know your fate, which makes life fun. You never know what's next.
@@Toxivello nah. I get what you mean but Your body and mind will not know but your soul will know what will happen next .You still will experience pain you will still experience happiness and that adrenaline but you will now not be panic and know what you have to be prepared for and become confident. Just as every teacher and pucci also says says " happiness comes from preparation". So you don't panic and always be at peace with world and yourself.
But I still don't get why pucci is villain??
@@nameless_monster_ Pucci is a villain because of the road he took to achieve this ‘heaven plan’. You can argue there was righteousness in his goals, but in order to achieve it, he carelessly manipulated and murdered anyone in his way. He caused a massacre at Cape Canaveral and showed no remorse for it. He injured and killed people with the time acceleration, weeding lives out of the cycle. He killed his own brother without a second thought, etc. These are acts of great evil.
Pucci alone makes Stone Ocean on of the Beast Pieces of fiction
Puccu= Local Florida man ruins everything
His backstory is honestly geniusly written
This need more views!!
Great video
Thank you!
The most misunderstood villain with the most misunderstood stand, Made in Heaven; how fitting.
Good job sir
I assume cause the way they executed his introduction to the series and in the manga, or else he would have been a menacing villan revealing only his doppio side to the masses
He achieved what dio couldn’t, eliminating the joestar bloodline.
I mean he didn't the first time line but wasn't able to truly do it in the second or third
Pucci is the "White Sheep" of the Jojo Rogues Gallery
Hehe soul disk go brrrr
Hes not the only misunderstood villain now. Tooru also receives the same treatment
Why is Tooru misunderstood? His entire character is completely shrouded in mystery and we know nothing about him (hoping part 9 cleans things up).
We know things about him. His motivations, his goals, his mindset of life itself. Thats why i said misunderstood, yall dont even understand single thing from him. I really recommend this video to help yall understand better about him

He just wants to know everything that is destined to happen in the universe by killing everyone on earth.
Pucci is considered an anti-villian
Who is George rowe
George Rowe is a former Scottish professional footballer who played as a centre-back for Clydebank, Arbroath, Queen of the South and Stirling Albion.
Priests can't be bad come on now.
You cannot just keep the soul or even memory or likeness of anyone and consider them the same as the real thing of which there is of course no replacement for.
Pucci actually can be good guy, so who's fault is this? of course the mad vampire himself.
This is all canon
The fandom might just crack pucci gay preist jokes but personally i think that pucci is the best jojo villain just because of his iron will.
Wiw
your audio is so low dude fix that
In which, Poochie, but she, purchase, coochi, spooky, Bujji, perchè, British, Butchie, pujols, booties, Pooch in, project, virtually, which is
-the subtitles different names for Pucci 🥰🥰
Have you been to the church lately?
