I own all the Marvel TPBs (2015-) set between ANH and ESB. And I discovered your channel and videos. I appriecate how you attempt to put all the materal into chronological order. However, I noticed that sometimes that requires you to rearrange content, from different collections. I am presently revisiting the TPBs, along with your videos, and it occured to me that it would be helpful, if like in the case of this "Doctor Aphra #0", you were to enclude where it can be found (Issue #1) in the publications, in the description. This is some fine content you are creating here. Great job.
@@StarWarsAudioComics Honestly, I have only encountered this a couple times, while working through the playlists. The one that really threw me off was "Doctor Aphra The Trigger", I couldn't find it anywhere in my TPBs. then realized it was actually in one of the "From a Certain Point of View" books.
Can someone explain, this went a little over my head lol. I get she pranked him but how? She got him to remove the symbiotes from the vault and somehow proved that... Was she recording him? If so, then why did she seem so upset when nothing was there? Just an act in case he was watching her enter the vault?....
She didn't find what she wanted in the underground chamber. He mocked her for it, and showed her the symbiotes as a way of proving his own skill, and basically admitted that he was sabotaging her career, regardless of her success or failure in the chamber. So, she stole the symbiotes and planted them in the chamber, claiming that she found them there in the first place, then had them destroyed since they were illegal to have in the first place. Thus, she A) destroyed his accomplishment, B) forged an accomplishment of her own that would be worthy of earning her doctorate, and C) blackmailed him into giving her the doctorate, by threatening to reveal that he had been illegally keeping the symbiotes.
This is a side story included at the end of issue #1, which serves as a prologue/flashback to events mentioned in the first few issues. The story has no official title, so we figured "#0" was an accurate enough descriptor.

What are symbiotes? Are they what palpatine used to come back to life?
The symbiotes are brain parasites, similar to the worms from that one episode of Clone Wars. Basically turns the victim into a zombie.
