It's hard not to believe this stuff wasn't true, it was at the very least lies combined with truth as in thee 2 aforementioned truths. I believe she recanted & placed all the blame on Jack Gordon just to get back into the good graces of her family, once she was tired of him & ready to kick him to the curb.
