As someone in the US, I find these videos very interesting, especially because of the differences in the houses. Your "terrace" homes were built more for working and middle class people, whereas the "row" houses in some older US cities were built more for the wealthy. Your terrace homes are largely variations of the same plan, with fewer connections between the living, dining and kitchen areas. You value your private rear gardens!
I was thinking why not rotate them seasonally? Knocking down walls will also eliminate display space. But love the show and the home they chose. A roof terrace can't compete with an actual garden.
