She was one of my fiercest defenders, as well, as my "favorite ole girl". but, because of circumstances beyond my control I was unable to attend her service. So, needless to say I was quite upset.But, you guys were able to lift me out of my semi- depression. Thank you, for bringing me back to the present. I still remember when this episode first came out, that era was the best for coming home and sitting in front of the TV. I go back to listen to Prince more often but objectively, Michael was on another level. The outfits, the thriller dance, the moonwalk, all completely shifted culture like no other. Sign O The Times is one of my favorite albums period. But if you put that, Purple Rain, and 1999 up against just Off The Wall and Thriller MJ still has the edge musically. But I still go back to Sign O The Times more than anything lol

Prince was actually more talented than MJ. Michael Jackson was extremely talented don't get me wrong but he always had an amazing team behind him. From Motown to Quincy Jones to what ever top producer he chose to hire at a peticular time. Prince sang, wrote, produced, choreographed and played instruments. Prince was amazing!

Prince was a great musician and write, but he was very hit and miss. He made a lot of crap. Michael was a far better singer and dancer, and he made very little bad music. Damn near every album he made was great, and videos were the greatest ever. Hell, Michael sold 4 times as many records as Prince. So it’s Michael.
