- Yamaha decided to go sporty by launching the RXZ model with 135cc 2stroke engine with combination of 4 speed and 5 speed .The 1997 was year when it was introduced to the world and it made its place in many hearts . The production is still ongoing with 6 speed transmission in malaysia. the performance and handling was significantly improved compared to previous RX series bikes
