Just got this as my travel watch. I wanted something that still looks good on the wrist with a bit of flair but also wouldn't be too disappointed if I lost it somewhere. While its not on the level of an Omega or Rolex, its a very solid piece and worth every penny...
I have to admit, I’m amazed how beautiful this is! I have datejust and gmt master but I live in London and you know how dangerous it’s to wear a Rolex…This is my go to watch last 2 months and received numerous compliments! Tbh people are more interested in this than Rolex, it attracts more people 😂

Nice review! My next watch is likely a PRX. This colourway, while cool is a bit loud for me. And for my wrist, the 35mm works much better. If only Tissot would start selling the leather straps for the smaller version as well.

I'd like it even more in either automatic or thinner with no second-hand. I don't mind quartz, I just don't like seeing a second-hand miss landing on the mark and stuttering.

I was obsessed when this came out, I tripped into my local AD to try it on and ultimately came away with a Seiko 5 GMT the blue and black version.

Interesting, I've been thinking about buying a good dress watch, my current one, is an everything watch, robust, Accurist, tough, and really good. So, I've had a love affair with Omega's since I first held a Constellation in the early 90's, and I've been looking for one recently, but they're all about pricey. Yesterday, I was looking in a jewelers shop, and I spotted this Tissot sitting among the mass of luxury, it's striking colour making it the most attractive one there, it was £299.00 and I just passed it looking for any others that might suit me. Nothing. But today, when I woke, I thought I'd check out reviews, and I decided, (following a hands on) that I might go and buy it. I sure did, but overnight, they'd actually dropped the price to, £268.00, so that was a lucky bonus. The watch suits my wrist, it's not glaring, but just cool minty looking, very happy.
Have to see this one in person. Every video, every picture it is a different color. I have my suspicions that most creators are oversatuarting to make it look more tiffany blue than mint green as it is a better talking point and brings greater interest if not controversy

... I've just bought this very green mint model today pal. It's coming tomorrow and I got 15% off too at Goldsmiths! So Is the dial legible and clear to see the hour markers? Also is the actual colour more green or blue? Great video. Keep up the good work👏👏👏

@@sparko2012 Hi tbh with you pal it was a bit too loud for me so I ended up returning it bk and got the all white version instead with the all face illumination then swapped out the white rubber strap for a black one instead.
@@a.j.e4349 that's exactly what worried about, how loud it is. I think I need to get into a shop and see it in person but I think I'll end up getting the white one myself. Probably going to be more wearable as at least it will go with a few different colour clothes etc. Cheers for the response tho.
@@sparko2012 Yeah no worries pal. Tbh the white ones bang on! It was just the white strap that I didn't like to be fair it was too much white? So I ended up getting the black faced one with the black rubber strap... Then kept the black rubber strap put it on my white face one sold the black faced one with a black leather strap ( I bought one earlier) then sold the white rubber strap separately. I know alot of messing about just to get the black rubber strap but I didn't lose any money and the white faced watch looks banging! Hahaha
Why can’t they make the seconds hand hit the markers?
Citizen can do that in watches costing a third of the price.
Indeed, beautifull watch, but not accurate. The reason I will not buy one
Part of it is quality control, but the other part of it is that to get the time accurate the quartz movement creates some backlash. This means that it won't hit every marker dead on, there will be the slightest amount of give. You see this on quartz watches costing thousands more. The Rolex Oysterquartz is the most overengineered quartz movement every made and shows the same issue, the seconds hand doesn't hit every marker dead on. Its the nature of the quartz movement...
Casio makes it possible even in the lowest end watches.All my casios hit the markers.

It's really mint green, not Tiffany blue, BTW. AqNaut have created a strap adapter that makes it very easy to swap out straps. Tissot only offers a black (boring) and blue (doesn't go with the mint green) leather strap.
Its marketed as mint green, but its Tiffany Blue. I know this b/c I compared it to the real Tiffany Blue and the shade is identical...
What strap do you think goes well with the mint
I bought one and returned it. Once they make Mint Green in Powermatic 80, I will buy again.
