Sony ES Receiver's 360 Spatial Sound Mapping Setup

Hi, I have the hta9 which I like and works well. However I do think it lacks a bit in sound quality. Is upgrading to the receiver with spacial 360 with good speakers much of an improvement and worth the effort. Also if all the speakers are wired why do you have the spacial 360 mapping option. Is that any better or just the same. Thankyou ,,,, steve

How does this compare with Yamaha's latest CinemaDSP AI technology? Always been a fan of classic CinemaDSP but it may be time for a switch.

I bought a SONY 5000 ES to go with a new A95K TV. It will not communicate with the Sony TV. I spent two hours with Sony's TV techs and they could not get it to work. I spent another hour with Sony's amp tech and they could not get it to work. I was told to call Monday through Friday to talk to the ES Specialist. He would not help, not even make a suggestion. He said if I don't like it send it back. I am very disappointed with Sony's support.
