One of my favorite weird decks i’ve made was an anti-etb deck, the entier deck consists of big under-costed creatures with terrible downsides when they enter, but that the deck has all of the cards that stop etb effects so they don’t happen. I made mine naya but basically any 2 or more color combo that includes white can usually work
Schrodinger didn't actually say that the cat was both alive and dead, he said that IF YOU ASSUMED THAT QUANTUM MECHANICS APPLY TO THINGS OTHER THAN SUBATOMIC PARTICLES, then you would have a situation where the cat is both alive and dead. Which is obviously absurd, so you cannot apply quantum mechanics to large objects. It is by far one of the most well known and simultaneously most misunderstood science thought experiments.
then again, it does apply to larger things too, it's just astronomically unlikely (read impossible) that something of the size of a cat would be able to maintain the state of superposition without decoherence causing it to collapse in practice, since there are so many things it would interact with (like the air and the box itself)
@@Aaarrrgh89 This is a problem that many worlds resolves. Wave function collapse is a relative concept that can be explained by entanglement between the thing and the observer. For the cat itself it is always in a single state, but for an outside observer it could theoretically (assuming a perfect seal with no interaction between inside and outside the box) stay in a superposition. It is kind of a meaningless statement though, since it would be impossible to actually observe any quantum effects caused by that superposition, since even if you can make the perfect seal, you’d need to move both versions of the cat to the same state in order to get interference between the two cats in superposition.
I like "Oops, all lords" as a deck concept, running only creatures that are tribal lords, but no two creatures share a type. Except that you get to run a single copy of Mirror entity.
My best dumb deck is loaded with relentless rats, but the goal is to not get lots out, but to exile them all from the game with Extirpate to make my deck super thinned out then Drop a Shared fate. all that's left in the deck is Read the runes, lands, dark rituals, etc. Nothing usefull.
im surprised my comment was used. it's not a problem to go ±0.20¢ as i was debating with myself if i wanted it to be 10 or 25 for a few minutes beforehand anyway
i did a 40 lands deck that is quite fun. it also runs druid class to play more lands, asuza's many journeys to play more lands, oracle of mul daya, some harmonize for draw, ulvenwald hydra to tutor lands and deal with flyers and a couple darksteel hydra to put indestructible on the other hydra and discourage attacking. it actually runs fairly well on arena.
8:54 I tend to use chaos pieces as actually a way to screw over control. I've found that Grip of Chaos, for example, is an excellent way to stop any form of targeted removal, and Hive Mind is perfect for screwing over countermagic. I run both those cards in Nekusar, and the hive mind is also quadrupling all my wheels, so it's extremely disgusting and I'm a terrible person.
War's Pride: Ellyn harbreeze, busy body and hardy outlander as a background attempt to give as many tokens to opponents as possible, run fog, ghostly prison and other protection stuff as well as all the green/white token doublers as you can, attack with Nacatl War Pride and completely overrun your opponents! Run blade of selves for even more efficiency
Tribal tribal: run morphon, the boundless then as many cheapish chanlings then all lords so its functional but the idea is you'll pick a very obscure creature type when you cast morphon each time like starfish or atog or gamer or employee go nuts! Then just use lords for victory
Dumbest thing I've built is an Atraxa deck runs a decoy shell to make you think I care about counters of any kind while building a rube Goldberg machine that will result in a triple draw out win.
"Fail to find exists to prevent awkward situations" Coming hot off the heels of YGO, which does _not_ have a Fail to Find rule... yeah, it is pretty awkward when you lose an entire match because you weren't mentally keeping track of how many of [x] card are left in your deck to find.
Fyi there's Go for the throat and Pristine talisman in the Of tribal deck not sure of it is on purpose but they didn't fit the theme so thought I throw it out there
Shuffle your library tribal, built it, it’s not good… but if your friend (the one with small hands) is talking back or winning too much. Make him get a cramp irl. Nerd.
Tongues: rule zero make a deck that effects how someone talks, when they talk, or what they say or what they cant say either the person piloting the deck or your opponents
Cool video. My favorite dumb deck idea is 99 lands and a commander. My personal deck is 33 forests, 33 plains, 33 mountains and Marath, Will of the Wild.
My personal favorite is omnath locus of rage, risen reef, and maelstrom wanderer as a commander, along with 97 land cards. If you survived doing nothing until turn 8 you get ~80 5/5 elementals with haste so long as your opponent has no counters
Rube Goldberg Deck: a deck filled with convoluted combos that result in doing something that can just be performed by a single card.
Genius

@@asdfghyter there is also the question of if the cat itself is an observer of the process which could lead to its death.

I hate that "Of" tribal is so damn up my alley. Finally, a spiritual successor to my 2020 Memes deck (headed by Karona the False God)
I had to check the Pi idea. Just had to. But only 26 digits in (the thirteenth creature). There is no 8/3 in the game.
I'm sorry for our loss.
Start with a 0/3 as creature 1
DRIVNOD HAS COME TO SAVE OUR ASS, ASSHOLES
Now I'm definetely building this

Bear Force One is in full effect!!!
Please talk about Force of Will? We definitely could use more hype for the game. Would be greatly appreciated 🙏

Eye of the Storm with Cruel Entertainment deck!
Neat video! Good content, better than you'd expect from the channel size.
...what was that redacted word?
hilarious! where is the "20 islands and 40 green spells" clip from?
Friday Nights by Loading Ready Run, an awesome MTG sketch comedy series
thank you!

Yeah, and from what (admittedly little) I understand of Yugiyo, it's a super tutor and combo heavy game, so I can imagine
@@SamHuggins that is very much true. Ygo is a very strange sort of tribal combo game, very reliant on its tutors.
So just saw this video and I have a deck suggestion it's called bad card tribal it's mostly made out of bad cards like Jade leach
Fyi there's Go for the throat and Pristine talisman in the Of tribal deck not sure of it is on purpose but they didn't fit the theme so thought I throw it out there

Sorry to be nitpicky but I can't help myself: The commenter means the digits of pi. The numbers of pi are 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 0.
ye very cool

what was the name of the child of alara deck
it was "shitfuck" child of alara lmao
im dissapointed my collectors number 42 deck wasnt chosen
Super cool idea, was one of the ones near the top of the list
make a deck where every card has "No" in the name
Urza tribal, not Urza and a bunch of artifact creatures and artificers, but the only creatures in the deck must be different iterations of Urza
Dang. Was not expecting the lucky charms shoutout, but appreciate it nonetheless:)

What word was censored from the Child of Alara idea and why?
