- Driving over 800km in one of the UK's FIRST Right Hand Drive Corvette C8 Stingray. The American 'Bargain' Supercar. This is a full vlog of my weekend with the car being hosted by Corvette Racing and Oliver Gavin's Driving Academy. EPIC!!!

my neighbor and friend has a beautiful Jaguar F Type..... He is very jealous of my L3T,HTC,Z51 C8 lol. He was blown away the 1st time he saw it.
To quote Jeremy Clarkson on the C7 ZR1 "well done you fat blokes from backwoods Kentucky". By the way, Queen Elizabeth has come to Kentucky to buy thoroughbred horses for her breeding program on at least two occasions. At least some species are not inbred at Windsor Castle. "Drove my Chevy to the levy but the levy was dry and good ole boys drinking [Kentucky] whisky and rye..." and maybe a bucket of chicken on the side.

We went this year after 2 years of waiting due to the pandemic. Was well worth it, as you said the atmosphere was incredible! It seemed everyone staying in/around the Porsche curves was British too😂

It’s decent BUT I don’t like the rear end, and it doesn’t Rev high enough (base)

The rear is really quite cool looking in person when you talk about the HTC version. the curves over top really spice it up and are more pronounced. this car has a lot of lines and not all can be shown well on camera at once like in person
It looks better in person and it doesn’t need to rev high.

Base c8 isn’t a super car in my opinion. The coming zo6 certainly is… and will be in the running for best car for the money
i have seen a few out on the roads,they're kinda rare,mainly due to the supply issues giving production hell.The Z06 is undoutbly a supercar.the base car is really fast at least 0-60
@@MLK_Sold_Black_america_out yep. Lc500 is also rare to spot but extremely far from being a super car.

The C8 is a super car. Its really got the presence of one. now that being said, ive seen some ugly combos on c8's and not all look very great. the performance is definitely there though
it is expensive, it has unique engines that are not shared with any other car (LT2/LT6), it is fast (as fast as an R8 RWD). if everyone calls the R8 V8 a Supercar, technically the C8 stingray can be one too. but I agree with you, for me the stingray is a sports car, just like the Carrera S for example. but I have no problem calling it a Supercar

Most all options were hideous. I had an aftermarket set of Vossen wheels. Just switched to E5 wheels.

I really don't think the stingray looks good.
Looks are subjective.. astonishingly the C8 was actually beaten by a BASE 992 Carrera (385hp) in a three way Carwow drag race over a mile. It would seem that German ponies count for a lot more.
