    Hints:
    The recipe does not give instructions for cupcakes. The full recipe should make 24 generous regular sized cupcakes. Bake at 350 degrees for 15-22 minutes, rotating the pans halfway through baking.
    Lisa's cream cheese frosting recipe:
    4 oz (half brick) cream cheese
    1/4 cup (half stick) unsalted butter
    2 teaspoons vanilla
    2 1/2 cups powdered sugar
    1-2 tablespoons milk
    Directions for frosting:
    Make sure butter and cream cheese are at room temperature. Beat butter and cream cheese well in a large bowl. Add vanilla, mix again. Add powdered sugar, one cup at a time, beating well with each addition. Make sure to beat until free of any lumps. Frosting will be thick, add 1 or 2 tablespoons milk and beat until you reach desired consistency. For thicker frosting, you might add less milk and for icing or thinner consistency, add more milk.
