How to Sharpen Scrapers - The Quick and Easy Way

Right when I'm in the middle of something and reach for a scraper - its dull. Years ago I came up with a quick and easy way to sharpen a scraper. And it's perfect for the contoured ones too.

Hi Jeff...cute trick! Have you tried that with 80 grit sandpaper, which is what might be commonly found on a disk sander? Thanks!

I have sharpened my card scrapers on a 80 grit disc sander. Noting that my scraping is usually done to remove old finishes or coatings. This is plenty sharp enough for the work
