Hey man, just giving you an editing tip: when you say the name of something, put a picture of it. Especially when your talking about how much you love the design of it, it means nothing if I, the viewer, can’t see it. I like your videos, and I think going all the way with pictures and whatnot goes a long way with making them great
Man, these videos would be great if I knew what all of these Skylanders I’ve never heard of look like by name instead of just being told their names over level footage. No offense, but I do feel that more proper visualization would dramatically improve the quality of these videos. Also, major props for using Wii Party music on the endcard. I love that game.
My first variant is actually very recent and it's still my only variant being Legendary Bash. I found his figure for like, 6 bucks and that was a pretty good deal.
The favorites I know I have are Gold Skeleton sword guy from trap team, yellow fire dog, gold and blue stealth elf from Swap Force, Black Eruptor from 3ds, and probably someone else Lee I have a lot of skylanders but not a lot of variants, but in the end a lot of the variants are really cool (also I don’t know if this counts but I have the purple Broccoli Guy from trap team)
My first variant was one of my earliest skylanders. Being Legendary Bouncer, it was like 6+ years ago from cex. I didn't even get a regular bouncer until last year.
My first Variants were also my first Skylanders, they were Legendary Free Ranger and Gnarly Tree Rex. I also got Lightcore Star Strike. Those were my first 3 skylanders, I got them at Toys R US before I even had Swap-force
There was a used video game store where I lived when I first started Skylanders with Trap Team, which where I got a lot of the figure from past generations, some of which were variants! I had Legendary Trigger Happy as well, plus Pumpkin Head Eye Brawl and Jade Fire Kraken, but I lost all of them on sleepover with an old friend of mine, along with Boomer, Hoot Loop, and Free Ranger. :( The only variants I have today are Big Birthday Bash Pop Fizz and the Nitro Stealth Stinger.
My first variant was quickdraw rattleshake. He was also the first skylander I bought aside from the swap force starter pack. I still remember getting the stater pack in Target one day in 2014, and then going to toys r us a few days later and picking QuickDraw rattleshake because I was 7 and obsessed with snakes and glow in the dark stuff. Props to anyone who read all that
I went to a local game store and I found Ro Bow for LEGIT $4. There was a deal where you get 5 for $20 and I got some light core figures and Ro Bow himself. And absolute steal
Lowkey imagine how cool it would have been if every game past swap force had their own theme for the bigger packs instead of just dark editions. Maybe like runic or light variants? Idk a black base with a silver layer of paint is easy to produce so who am I to criticize.
My first variant was the basketbrawl. I got it at a local family run gamestore and I was so disappointed that I shoved him in my closet and didn’t look at him for about a year.
As someone who has already reached adulthood several years before Spyro’s Adventure ever came out, I NEVER liked the chase variants. I always went for the in game variants. I’m not a collector. I’m just some random woman who actually enjoys playing Skylanders. The only variant I have where I guess you COULD classify it as a chase variant is the Platinum Treasure Chest. My 3 favorite variants that I own are Series 1 Dark Spyro, Series 3 Dark Mega Ram Spyro, and Legendary Spyro. Why Spyro you may ask? Because I grew up with Spyro’s games on the PlayStation 1 and Spyro is my all time favorite video game character. I’ve been playing them since his first game came out back in 1998. I wish they made a Dark Cynder. 😢 I really wanted Series 1 Dark Spyro to be my first ever variant, but instead of picking up the 3DS version of Spyro’s Adventure, my sister picked up the 3DS version of Giants for me, so my first ever variant was Punch Pop Fizz.
I'm pretty sure that my first Variant was Legendary Zoo Lou. I just remember seeing him and thinking he looked cool. Then I realized he looked different from the box art and his name was Legendary Zoo Lou, not just Zoo Lou. I don't use him, but it holds a special place in my heart.
I only have like 3 variants which were like this boat thing for super chargers that had a colour change for a charity raising money for cancer research, a variant of the skeleton guy who plays music also from super chargers and a legendary eruptor from trap team or swap force I think that I got because smiths toys was doing some kind of special offer where they gave you goody bags if you bought something for skylanders
My first variant was legendary lightcore chill but the first one i went out of my way to buy was Pumpkin head eye brawl. There was much disappointment with him
The very first variant skylander that I got was punch pop fizz(red) and my first very legendary spyro and the only legendaryI jave and I also have a green ish bronze shroomboom and in my personal opinion I love the ones that show up in the game
The SSA Legendary variants had stat bonuses too. Those were reduced in the Giants variants, and gone by Swap Force. I agree the variants tfat don't appear different in-game are disappointing (but are still collectable). And don't forget the Nitros ! In Swap Force that's Nitro Magna Charge and Nitro Freeze Blade -- but also Nitro Magna Blade and Nitro Freeze Charge when swapped !
Idk if this was mentioned but one Skylander that isn’t rare but more so “limited” was Solar Flare Aurora which is apparently a 2016 or 2017 Black Friday exclusive
Here's one thing that is kind of funny so almost all of my SWAP Force characters are variants I have Jade firecracking enchanted hoot loop and legendary night shift
I started skylanders with trap team but I didn't get the starter pack, I got the portal, the water and life traps, and legendary zooloo, winterfest lobstar, and food fight, so 2 of my first skylanders are variants, I am glad those were my first skylanders
They did in fact show the differences IF it were a chase variant the Icon and Card would be the normal skylander while the Ingame Variant did have a recolored icon and card (not superchargers and imaginators with cards since they were removed in superchargers)
I once, during the time Swap Force has been released, buyed a Green Chop Chop in Toys'R'us for the same price, a regular figure had cost and wondered, why he didn't look the same ingame. I am just now learning that chased variants are a thing... :/
I allways thought it was some (cool looking, but) weird fake Skylander someone mixed in their stock for some reason, and that they just didn't know was fake, but now I'm kinda glad, that I still own this figure.
Dark spyro's and jingle Bell chompy mage is awesome just because I don't have regular chompy mage why does your least favorite character have a Halloween a variant that is so awesome and at the end used Wii party music which I always loved playing that game.
why does swap force and above Skylanders look so different than the 2 first games Skylanders I think the designs on the Skylanders on the 2 first games is the best but I would like to hear you guys opinions and the Skylanders just didn't look cool for me anymore after swap force I would like to have vid about this because the designer kinda switch if you think about it but that my meaning
I have successfully collected all dark and (nearly all) legendary figures from all games. Just missing the legendary Superchargers. How about you guys? Do you have them?
My first variant was s2 cynder (if that counts?) She was in the starter pack for giants so I kinda got her without really wanting to. I now really like her tho I think the figure looks a little better, more detailed and more like the original cynder from the legend of spyro The second was s2 whirlwind. My mom got her for me because she didn't know I already had s1 but again I really like her figure more than the s1. The pose is more dynamic than the s1 and obv s2 have wow pows which I really like. Kinda sad that it made the s1 unnessecary Oh and Ninja stealth elf, bought her recently cause I found an ebay listing for 2-3€ so that's cool. Definitely an upgrade from the regular s2, because she's actually different in game and her figure design is also very different
I got 5 Sensei's the other day and 3/5 ended up being variants, I got the Easter flare wolf, christmas chompy mage, and steel plated Hoodsickle, mysticat, and Pain-Yatta, all 5 for 20 bucks
Hey man, just giving you an editing tip: when you say the name of something, put a picture of it. Huge Missed opportunity to make dark bowser the dark bowser from m&l bowser’s inside story.
ikr!
They have a very specific way of doing them
I wonder what he's gonna say about the Chase Variants.
Skylander: *actually a chase variant”
TVA: In the name of the Time Variants Authority, you are under arrest!
My first variant is green gill grunt in the ssa starter pack
I never owned ssa starter pack but I also had green gill grunt but I lost him
Mine was series one dark spyro
Same!
Mine was legendary chop chop. I always thought he was just chop chop I didnt know that variants existed

I am once again asking for a theory on KAOS’ ability to finance all of theses armies
He's got an Evil portal Master Catalogue/Magazine according to Book of Kaos allegedly.
He runs an mlm scam
Tax avoidance through real-estate and golf courts.
The portal masters never knew what hit 'em.
He asks old people if they want to support injured Skylanders by sending 50,000 evil minions
My first variant is actually very recent and it's still my only variant being Legendary Bash. I found his figure for like, 6 bucks and that was a pretty good deal.
Not bad at all! I got legendary spyro, bash and chop chop in a triple pack that cost me like £40
I got a new fight rider glow in the dark for 3€😦
2:29
Are we just going to glance over that spyros head is not attached to his body
apparently yes
I thought it looked weird but I figured he was just like in a different position or something, because it kind of looks like he’s crouching down
4:43 Legendary Zoo Lou, it was also my first ever skylander, I didn’t even had a Starter Pack yet
2:28 wtf happened to spyro
The blue chop chop variant is fantastic
Too bad it costs a kidney to get one
Says blue yoshi 😏

Laughed my ass off when he said “oh and basket-brawl” with the sound effect
I salute you for still making skylanders videos in late 2021
My first variant was one of my earliest skylanders. Being Legendary Bouncer, it was like 6+ years ago from cex. I didn't even get a regular bouncer until last year.
Basket-Brawl is my new fave variant of Eye-Brawl.
My first Variants were also my first Skylanders, they were Legendary Free Ranger and Gnarly Tree Rex. I also got Lightcore Star Strike. Those were my first 3 skylanders, I got them at Toys R US before I even had Swap-force

Why didn't they let us play as the Gummy skylanders?
My first variant was the basketbrawl. I got it at a local family run gamestore and I was so disappointed that I shoved him in my closet and didn’t look at him for about a year.
Winterfest Lob-Star is one of my three favorite skylanders that i own

This video is great, man! Keep on making this absolutely goat'd skylanders content!
My first variant was Legendary Night Shift I believe, it was either that or Kickoff Countdown
As someone who has already reached adulthood several years before Spyro’s Adventure ever came out, I NEVER liked the chase variants. I always went for the in game variants. I’m not a collector. My first variant was Kickoff Countdown. I got really into the game after Swap Force released, and, on my 5th birthday, I got Kickoff Countdown.
I have just Scarlet Ninjini bc 7 year old dumbass me thought she was the original version...anyways
I was in a Walmart one time around early 2013, and I saw a red Drill Sergeant. I got a Series 2 Drill Sergeant instead. That haunts me forever.
I like the wii party music at the end lol
My first variant was legendary lightcore chill but the first one i went out of my way to buy was Pumpkin head eye brawl. There was much disappointment with him
I got a glow-in-the-dark Fright Rider.
I wonder how valuable the figure is now.

That was one of my first variants.
Legendary Tri Tip, Egg Bomber Air Strike, and Legendary Night Shift
I remember my first variant was either nitro freeze blade or the spring ahead dive bomber, I never ended up getting the normal versions.
I wish you would have talked about the Eons elite in this vid. But besides that it was great!
THERES ANOTHER HOLIDAY TYPE BRO, THEY GOT BIRTHDAY ONES

RIP legendary spyro in that pic
I only have one variant, but he's my favorite, he's frightful fiesta.
dark spyro is the only skylander Variant that has his own CGI cutscene
The variants that don't change in game are disappointing, because the figures look so cool......
My personal favourite variants are Jade Flashwing, Hranite Crusher and Nitro Freeze Blade.
My First Variant i had was Punch Pop Fizz
Yep, same
The first one I got was Legendary Astroblast/ Sun runner from some expansion pack
Gotta love YT subtitles... Scanners = Skylanders 🤣🤣🤣
Dark spyro's and jingle Bell chompy mage is awesome just because I don't have regular chompy mage why does your least favorite character have a Halloween a variant that is so awesome and at the end used Wii party music which I always loved playing that game.
Technically any costumed Skylander has the regular figure, but looks different in game.
I am glad I got a glow in the dark cynder in my giants starterpack
1:56 power punch pet vac. its red and black on the figure, but red and gold in game

Well yeah you were listing ones for one specific Skylanders variant
red rill sergeant I mean he introduced me to the series
My first and only in game variant was legendary night shift and my only chase variant was metallic green wash buckler.
My first variant was Kickoff Countdown.
I didnt even know they were variants for a few skylanders I had
I actually do like the Legendary variants from Imaginators, but I do prefer the older style.
i still do like legendary jaw breaker over the og variant
My first variant was a legendary swashbuckler that I got in the Skyler swap force starter pack
Damn I wish somebody would send me Skylanders Imaginator’s
My first variant was someone from Giants but I can’t remember who tho
Core figures were more like nine to ten and special figures were about fifteen.....everywhere you could buy them in my state.
Wasn't jade fire kraken something chinese new year related?

I think the only chase I ever got was the greenish bronze Gill Grunt. He’s pretty cool
The first variant I ever got is Kickoff Count Down. If that doesn't count then it would be frightful Fiesta.
My first variant was dark mega ram Spyro. Very specific I know
I also got bamboozled w chases, mine was w glow in the dark cynder.
Yeah, I fell victim to gathering these variants before. Oh well. Better than nothing.
My first variant was legendary nightshift
I have a green steel plated hood sickle and I am so dissapointed it doesn't change appearance in game
My first variant was glow-in-the-dark sonic boom
I have successfully collected all dark and (nearly all) legendary figures from all games.
