I've collected pieces from this game since Day 1 and even then I knew I'd draw the line at the chases. I didn't see the point in putting in the time and effort to track down a piece that wasn't going to look different ingame
Now imagine being brazilian, having high taxes, a high inflation rate, high costs for shipping, low purchasing power and having every single penny being x5+ thanks to the stupid low value currency
We're not even gonna talk about how the Spyro's adventures' chases don't even say special in any of the games. This also makes it difficult to authenticate chases, especially out of box.

Funny enough, I got red Drill Sergeant from the first skylanders my Mamaw got me when I was 3 or 4. It wasn’t until February 2022 was when I realized it was a chase variant and not the original. Edit: I have a metallic black Gill Grunt and I got him because my dad would not let me make a Gillmen minion custom and that chase was the closest I could get.
Sadly watching this metallic wrecking ball and clear starcast are the most expansive ones I have. Yet there the cheapest ones I got. And pearl hot head was the most expansive. Also you swore………………A LOT.

well, these are just the chase variants, the rarest of the rare. Most other skylanders figures dont even come close to these prices.
