The moment i seen the first stab on Dave's blade i already knew he won
Did u know that his weapon “will keel”?
@@dojia lmao yesss
A true Witch Hunters’ weapon!
I want one!!
One could tell the minute he started speaking. It's the same with ALL the competitors. One of them they speak to critically, the winner they always speak to like they're talking to an old mate.
For me, it was the cuts. The other guy's sword... y'know... cut, but Dave's sword _CUT!_
That was probably the most well crafted sword on this show ever
Yeah
Dave made some stunning blades
yep, was really satisfying seeing how it performs dayum. guy's a legend making that great piece.
Ben Abbot was a competitor once, he’s now a judge because of the blades he made.
I cannot completely agree but this is probably the deadliest weapon in this show.
Dave looks like he could star in a 60’s or 70’s action movie imo
Andrei Andrei right eh
yeaaaaaaa 'Action' ;)
Andrei Andrei I dunno about action 😂😶
Oh oh lmao
Andrei Andrei OOF
He accepted the loss far b4 the results
He was a good sport.
Tbh I would be hard af to sharpen the edge of the curvy blade
The blade wasn't sharp enough and more importantly he got the balance wrong.
Its a matter of life and death. If bad sword, you just sign ur death sentence
Can we talk about how polite the contestants are to each other...
No, because that is the norm, well - should be. Not so much in todays extremely immature world.
You will never meet a rude blacksmith in today's society. They're practically non existent
@@bman296 Makes sense, I imagine that blacksmithing requires a lot of patience and willingness to accept failure.
everyone is heavily armed.
this show seems to be more about the actual craft of making weapon vs shows that like to use whatever subject matter as a catalyst to stir up drama.
Clearly no competition at all. Dave demolished this.
Nice job man
"Yeah man."
Yea you can see him swinging it much better. Though if front heavy he should have been able to cut deeper. It was a less sharp sword.
Indeed, apples and oranges

I love how respectful the competitors are on this show. Respect for fellow craftsman and taking a loss with grace is the greatest hallmark of this show.

I'd hate to be the guy who hears "This weapon will NOT Keel".
Phil C the first time it happened was on a crossbow test. He completely missed twice but he didn't say it wont kill
I watched it will not kill comments on the scottish claymores. Both blades were destroyed on the kill test. The Scottish claymore returned on champion of champions episode and the 2nd placer received the comment. Though both were good blades, the 2nd placer acted more like a rapier (a really good and weird rapier) and failed the kill test.
If a weapon won't kill the user is clearly not trying hard enough.
who heard dug say "it wheel Khut"
@@SirNiero its in the plate armor damascus test
Dave's rapier is a beast! The complexity and effectiveness on the blade its' own is already a masterpiece .
Neeeeerd
@@seamussmyth1928 you have a SCP song in a playlist if he's a nerd than your even more of one
@@xanderlaskey2753 alas you have bested me and i admit defeat
@@seamussmyth1928 my man, you took that hit like a champ
@@krisjinstark4843 thank you kind sir.
Dave's blade is magnificent! I've never seen such a lopsided victory without a catastrophic failure from the losing competitor.
4:07 that's the sound of a man who knows he lost lmaoo
(insert screen that says "D E F E A T" in bold)
1:13
This man said "bacon" while giving that hog the most menacing look I've seen in a long time.
Getting those Clayton Carmine vibes.
HAHAHAAHHAHA
Leave it to the man with an AWESOME MUSTACHE to forge an Awesome SWORD
I mean it's a fairly normal and average mustache nothing amazing or something that took special care to do.

Can we just point out how this dude accepted that he knew he was going to lose and congratulated dave
Coz it was pretty clear in the first test, still kudos to him completing all the test. Dave's on another level and he won the highest prize onwards.
Very obvious winner great channel
I don't even think there are requirements besides having forged a knife. I think someone was on the show and their round 1 challenge was the first blade they ever made.
But he lost with class. He made a very fine sword and from the start he knew he was outclassed. However he may have been banking on them savagely beating on the swords as they usually do and so built his sword more robustly as well as intentionally off balanced to avoid someone putting a huge amount of power into a swing and thus breaking it. This may simply have been a tactical error and not a skill error or failure. Unfortunately this show can really showcase the lesser maker as the best incorrectly because of their very entertaining methods of testing. (I don’t have a solution because it is an entertainment show and they succeed almost always and using consistent test rigs would definitely lessen the entertainment value.)
@@john-paulsilke893 he did at that and learned alot from the experience
I like the way the guy says ‘it will kill’
And his face.
It weel keel
It wheel keel
Doug: slices bag purple powder flies out
Janitor: i quit
Is it me or does Dave look like an absolute UNIT?
I mean black smiths are very strong and fit soooooooooo
His shirt's pretty baggy.
I had no idea flamberge rapiers were a thing! A combination of my two favorite swords!? Yes please!
0:37
that guys face:☹️
We all just came here for the "it weel KEEL"
I came hear because i was bored and this was recommended
💀💀
Timi Leskovar no cuz this show is actually interesting you hotdog
Timi Leskovar “hey guys look i said the thing xddddd”
Yes
The most impresive sword i ever seen,i love how it cuts..
One of the things I love about this show, is the live for blade forging. Each competitor gives their absolute best, and shows positive attitude towards their opponent.
Ricks blade was so clearly inferior that it was almost painful to watch
Can you do a blade like his?
not much inferior, just not at all sharpened.
@@velizarzhelev6552 that's a dumb argument
Awesome!!! Love this show!!! God Bless You, Your Show!!!
Dave won this before it even started lmao
This has got to be one of the coolest weapons I've seen on this show.
Dave is an artist,a very talented artist.Been watching this show from the beginning, words can’t describe how impressive his skills are.
one of the best bladesmiths out there
Nice work
these guys were super nice to each other
Keep the videos coming dudes!
This show is so wholesome
*Turns to camera*
*camera zooms in*
"It will keelll"
*Why does your profile picture match this?*
@@BoooTomato 😏
Yo blade it will KEEL (EVIL GRIN)
You know what i like? The good showmanship. Guys literally patting each other on the back and encouraging them. Good stuff.
great work dave! i love that sword you made!
I mean look at dave. The rapier is his specialty. Look at the guys mustache.
Thank you sir
amazing performance.
Man, I love this show!
Plz upload full episode
the sportsmanship on this show is refreshing with all the negativity and animosity nowadays, such a fun show too.
It is always so nice to watch a well-crafted sword perform in these tasks
Congrats for the 5 million subscriber...👏👏
Nicely done Dave.
Great work of art shows for itself .
3:28 Pause and look at his face
Lmao
I have been watching this series I think Dave is the best blacksmith I have watched until now.
The other contestant took the loss like a man. I'm happy to see that.
I love the way he say it will kill
can't find the follow-up episode, where can I find it?
"will keel" ...XD
Who else wonders what they do with the meat afterwards
Eat it I guess
from what I've heard. its donated to food banks. cold steel does too, when they test their blades
BaaaaaaaCooooooooonnn!!!!!!
@Get Real Exposed!
It was mentioned in a Q&A video that the meat is donated to a wolf sanctuary, and the salmon is kept by the hosts, cause they love salmon.
Dave is legend with this sword
If he were a doctor: Eet weel heeeeel.
nobody:
not a living soul
not even a single thing:
Doug: It will keel
this weapon could kill, THANK YOU!
I think I've found my new favourite style of sword.
The minute he said his opponents rapiers balance is off and Dave's rapier didn't break during the streng test I knew he won. That is a gorgeous sword.
That's a beautiful weapon.
Obligatory "it will keel" comment
I never get tired of this show!!! Your show...will cut!
Welldone Dave.......!
0:54 that thrust was so satisfying
Dave’s kill test was insane. Went through that pig like a hot knife through butter.
Beatiful
Beautiful sword
Omg they built my favorite sword
4:07 He knew he was screwed.
Nice
The shape and design of the blade looks like the soul reaver from LOK.
Why is it so satisfying when he says it weel keel
The champion sword is awesome, I love that sword...
I love that attitude
Easily the most dainty strength test in the history of the show.
in fairness it is relative to the weapon.
Does no damage.
Nobody:
Doug: will keeeeeeeeeeel
This is the sword of my childhood.
The same, good sire. Only 1600 kids remember that unique vibe to be the doppelsoldner landsknecht in the Imperial army, under the command of Albrecht von Wallenstein...
1:16 bacon guy stares at camera really weirdly XD
Dave is actually really skilled which angers me cus if he hadn't spent so much time on that goofy lookin guard he might have been able *to make* a F. Rapier that could pierce that test shield
@Optic64654 hyperbole dude
@Optic64654 wrong
Are you damaged? What video game have you been playing where you think any point-oriented weapon, particularly a rapier, is going to pierce a steel-plated shield designed to deflect or stop pointed weapons?
@@johncraven6671 read above
Ah, good one. :)
Every single weapon ever: your weapon wheel keel
Doug's blade had problems with weight and balance, and because of that struggled in many areas (Including edge alignment and energy used when swinging). It also didn't look to be nearly as sharp, as evidenced by the difference in resistance Doug's sword faced when thrusting into the pig compared to Dave's. Dave's sword went through the pig like the pig was made of wet tissues.
having made kris and flamberge getting one properly sharpened is really hard. These guys were really impressive.
The way he said bacon at 1:10 is really fun
Does anyone else get disappointed when he says “it will cut” and not “it will keel” 😂
“It will keel”.
He was good 🔥🔥🔥
I like the sportsman ship between the two
Clear winner
What happens to their weapons do they keep em or leave them ?
this is how much times he has said your weapon will keellllllllll
⬇️
Shut up
*IT WILL KEEL*
*nervous giggle*
What a good sport
His face when this weapon well not keel
Dave's flamberge is scary!
I love that sword
Rick made me feel too sorry, i saw the despair in hes eyes
Lmao at the guy with the hat who knew when the other guy did the 3rd challenge he put his glasses away and was like “YUP... it’s a wrap”
2:50 yup that's what he said
