Hi! You're giving off such a sweet and positive vibe I'll definitely stay on your channel for longer
Girl, I love your videos so much! I worked for a regional company before, but I have always wanted to work for a mainline for the same reasons you mentioned, so you are truly easing some of my anxiety. I just applied for my dream company today and I am so nervous because I know how intense the whole application and interview process can be. Please, if you have anymore tips for interviewing and are willing to share any other details about your F2F interviews, I would be so grateful!
I’m currently waiting to go to training and I can’t wait! Thank you so much for this video!
Congrats!! 😃
im also waiting for training☺
@@ebie1806 is training difficult?
@brinersealey i love you - i like watch you new to enjoy - excited briner x
Hi Briner! I just found your videos and i love them! I just got my CJO with your airline and I could not be more excited! I was wondering if you have any good tips or things to maybe start studying prior to starting training? I am so nervous for the tests, I have never really been a good test taker.. anything would help. Thank you!! (:
Hi Alexia! Thank you so much and congrats! I would not worrying about studying anything prior to training. I did receive a welcome packet a week before my training that included a little material to study/familiarize myself with before arriving. Other than that I would not try to study ahead, as it could end up being more confusing for you once you start your classes during training. I would recommend packing index cards to make flashcards! Also, bring a notebook to training for note taking. And like I mentioned in my videos, make sure you pay attention during the review sessions! Good luck!
Thanks for the new video! Take care❤
Hi dear hopefully you will be good and happy your base I have question about training how long it will take background check and when will start training any idea plz tell me
It took me about a week to hear back about my background check and then I started training a month later! But the timeline varies for everyone.
@@brinersealey thanks 🙏
Isn’t the disadvantage of New York that it’s THREE bases? So you never live close to the one you’re called for 😊 Stsrting your career commuting is tough, you are on reserve the entire first year, right?
Getting stress redness while taking to people, sounds hard to combine with majoring in PR . How did that work for you?
You have lotsa travel plans, got to love that!🎉
New York has a 3 hour call minimum call out time at my airline, to allow flight attendants enough time to get to the airport they are assigned to fly out of that day. Thankfully, LaGuardia and JFK are not too far away from each other, and Newark is more rare to get called out of unless you are very junior. I would just recommend not living more than a two hour commute (by car or train) away from each airport 🙂 And my airline does straight reserve for the first year, yes!
How do they pick seniority in training for bases?
OMG I'm such a fan
It's so great to hear from you again! 😊
I don’t know if you will see this, but how many months was it between the first rejection and first interview? I am in the application process and already preparing for when I can apply again, I’m so nervous!
Hi McKenna! I first applied in January 2022 and was immediately rejected (with no offer for any interview) within a week. If you don't officially begin the interview process, you can reapply as soon as they reopen the application. So I reapplied around May or June 2022, and then was offered a virtual group interview in August. If you are not selected to continue once you begin the interview process you have to wait anywhere from 3 months to 1 year depending on the airline! I would check the airline's hiring website for more specific/accurate information though! Good luck!
Was your bf supportive & excited when you got the CJO or did he get whiney about how long you’d be away for training? (If he’s been supportive then he’s awesome! I’m single & in the app process but it seems like it could be a challenging job for some couples due to time away, irregular schedules, etc.)
Yes! He was extremely supportive and excited for me throughout the entire process. It was a bit of an adjustment being away from him, but we FaceTimed almost everyday and I would text him during my breaks/meals times. A lot of flight attendants are in relationships and are able to make it work! But I have heard of some not working out because of the lifestyle/time away, etc. My personal opinion is that if your partner doesn't support your dreams and your career aspirations, then is that a relationship you really want to be in?
First class video
Big fan 💗
miss you Philly queen
I hope I get to fly with you someday. I start training next week.
Same! Good luck in training!!
Hii what if im graduated from high school, im just 18 and i want to be a flight attendant, do i need to have a college degree to be called for an interview?
You do not need a college degree to become a flight attendant but you do have to be 20 years old at most airlines! It will say what the age requirements are on the airline's website.
Do you know why United hiring so many new employees?
Covid recovery?
